TV Talk Best Ever Tournament: Round 6 (Final Four)

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Seinfeld
I've never seen The Sopranos, so the first vote was easy. (I know the show is good, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet).
Seinfeld gets the nod over the Simpsons mainly because Seinfeld didn't overstay its welcome.

The fact that Buffy is in the final four completely invalidates this entire tournament for me, so I must abstain. There is no way that show is in the same league as the other three.

I did set it up on purpose so that at least one SF show would make it to the final four. I thought, considering SF shows have such strong devoted followings, it seemed to be at least a little poetic. Hell, if I'd chosen the winners myself, you'd have Babylon 5 and Sports Night as the final two.
With Buffy, so many people just can't get past the premise. Hell, some can't get past the title. While it had some definite highs and lows over 7 seasons, at it's best the show was the best written hour on television, often the funniest, and with far more to say about the human condition than most so-called "serious" dramas.
So, yeah, my votes: Buffy, Simpsons.
I'll leave this open until 6pm EST and then tally the votes and post the finals. While the gas chaos has cancelled my Atlanta trip for the weekend, I'll still be away from a computer all weekend.
