Any satellite providers offer overseas channels?
I know BBC is gearing up to put their programming on the Internet, but it's really not the same. And the question is all in the post there. As for all I've seen Dish Network and DirectTV offer, they have no way to bring me British channels or other countries.

DirectTV offers quite a few Spanish channels and Asian channels. It is apart of their International programming package.

Apparently the reason Dishnetwork sucks soooo much for regular subs is because they concentrate sooo hard on being the 'International Programming Leader"
BUT I believe that both Dish and DTV consider international programming "non english speaking" so BBC is covered under BBC America.

You might be able to get ITV, Channel 4, or Channel 5- but I don't know if they are available via satellite. I think you might be shocked at the quality of some of their (and the BBC's programming). Interested in reruns of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Veronica's Closet?

I think BBC World is as close as you could get.
