Why did Toby name his daughter after the dead agent?

I never understood that....

I know she was at the first assination attempt...but she didn't save his life....so....why......they never seemed to have a connection....

He was having an affair with the dead agent and planned on re-living it by having a incestous relationship with his daughter.

All of the evidenece is on the blue dress.

Really it just a vast right wing conspiracy.

Even though no interaction between Toby and the agent was ever depicted on the show, it wouldn't be too much of a stretch to imagine that they had a passing familiarity with each other.

And naming his daughter after her is a way to honor her sacrifice, a sacrifice that he respects and feels deeply about.

And when the kid grows up and wants to know why she is named what she is, it's a much better and more meaningful story than "we picked it out of a book because it sounded pretty".
