Entourage - "Exodus" - 8/28

Exodus
Spoiler:
Vince is blinded by love, and Eric gets cozy with Sloan. Meanwhile, Ari gets shot down in the war room, and Drama and Turtle use their paparazzi skills on an important spy mission.

Next week is the season finale

I was surprised to see that they were actually scheduling this for next week, since usually HBO doesn't show new episodes of their original series on a holiday weekend.

Going to be sorry to see the season end - it's been a fun ride!

I guess they changed that this year because they also showed new episodes over the 4th of July.

I can't remember HBO not showing new episodes over the holidays. They even show new episodes on big event nights, like the Oscars.

Best Entourage ever.

Instant Emmy for Jeremy Piven.

Definitely the funniest ep. of the season. I've never seen a story about everything going to shit done so funny and upbeat before. While Drama was great as always, this episode really belonged to Ari and Lloyd.

Easily the best ep. of the season. Ari was gold (no pun intended).

Drama and Turtle crying during Brians Song was classic.

Have no idea what they have in store for the season finale. I'm just pissed that I'll miss it!

The Jerry Maguire scene was hilarious. Looks like Ari will be on his own for next season. BTW, did they confirm a third season of Entourage?

No joke. It is fantastic to be able to see Jeremy Piven every week.

Well, y'know, HBO is prone to kinda airing stuff more than once. Plus, if you have digital cable and some sort of On Demand service, you can catch up that way.

Kinda annoyed that my DVR didn't catch the last little bit, but I don't think I missed much of anything.

"Tsetse fly!"

It was weird to see Ari and his wife together without them arguing. When Ari was leaving the office, I was worried that Lloyd wasn't coming with him.

Next week:
Spoiler:
James Cameron is on again. I wonder if he'll stick with Vince and dump Mandy from the movie to get Vince to stay.

The Closed Captioning had the movie Turtle and Drama were crying at as "Ryan's Song".

I sure liked the view when Mandy was talking to E in his car.

"Please don't say anything offensive concerning my race or sexuality."

"I can't promise that, but I will always apologize."

I liked Lloyd's little run through Ari's office door. Kind of a shuffle and skip at the same time.

I wonder what will happen with Aquaman? Also, does Vince still belong to Ari or does he belong to the firm Ari used to work for? If he(Vince) is with the firm, then Ari would stand to benefit from Vince not doing Aquaman and possibly becoming a superstar.

Yes I know I will have more than a few chances to see the finale. And I do have on-demand. The problem being that I'll be in school from when it airs on Sunday to about the middle of October so I'll have to wait til then. But I'm sure theres a torrent of other ways to watch it.

I'm wondering the same thing? Or maybe everything Vince was doing while Ari was with the firm belongs to the firm, and Vince can leave the firm if he wants for any new work? Either way, I don't really see how Ari could be let back in the firm, and I can't see him not representing Vince.

Ari's line to Lloyd about packing up the office "used condom, executioners mask..." was awesome.

Ari and Lloyd are just fantastic as usual, and it was really nice for them to get pretty much their own episode. Ari's a dick, but I would love to see him take down that other asshole.

Gotta admit - watching Ari suffer was more fun than a healthy person should acknowledge! Great writing all around.

That was a great one-liner.

Piven was great. That single scene was so much better than the vastly overrated Jerry McGwire.

"...but I will always apologize."
When Lloyd then immediately started packing his stuff, I have not laughed that hard at a TV show in a long, LONG time.

There WILL be a third season, right?

"I go from driving an $80,000 Mercedes to getting a ride in a prop from 'The Fast and the Furious'"

I'm interested to see if there'll be a legal battle over Ari keeping Vince... Vince may be contractually obligated to the firm.

Great show! I wish it were an hour!!

My tivo cut off the end as well; I manually recorded the west coast feed, plus 10 minutes... I'll post the end tomorrow!

Definitely the best episode of the season. In just a little over one season this has become my favorite show on television. If Piven doesn't win an emmy it will be a crime. And Lloyd is the funniest gay character on television. I thought I would miss the hot assistant this season, but I don't at all!
