He wasn't happy that a bunch of D-listers were there to rib him.

Although it had its moments, I actually think the Foxworty one was funnier (was on Secret Stash on Saturday night). Definately could drop the music numbers.

I'm watching this again, and I still think that Jeffrey Ross was the star of the show.

I haven't seen this, but my mother (age 74) called me up today, and she was going on and on about how aghast she was from watching this show. I was like, gee mom what do you expect? I have no idea why she even tuned in.
She could not believe all the things people were saying on television, and she was especially shocked at Bea Arthur. She told me she couldn't believe Pam Anderson just sat there and let them say that stuff about her, and I was like
It's Pam Anderson, not Laura Bush. My mom actually used the word "unladylike".
Anyway I had to laugh at one of the jokes my mom told me: "I wouldn't fuck Bea Arthur with Andy Dick's dick."
I might need to watch this show now.

Yep. I remember the dick quote.
I taped it last night but the TV info channel was wrong. Then tonight the TV Guide was wrong in not saying it was on.
I'll catch it yet.

What was the deal with Bea Arthur there anyway? She seemed really out of place. I doubt she's a friend of Pam's.

I still say DiPaolo was on par with Ross in the Tastelessness category.
I have got to see DiPaolo. he hasn't been in Pittsburgh in a while...he's one of my current faves, along with Patton Oswalt.

I realize that Tommy's dick has to come up, but a roast is supposed to be kind of mean and what guy minds having person after person joking about how big his dick is? No one could have been happier that night than Tommy Lee. That's the only reason I thought there were too many of those.
Anna Nicole Smith looked amazing. Didn't Ross say something like, "someone needs to get her a 90 year old man's c*ck to suck on"?
The jokes about Courtney Love were the best. It would have been better to have just roasted her. "Courtney Love is like the girl next door...if you lived next door to a methadone clinic."

Jeff Ross & Nick DiPaolo were great, the rest of the show was decent. I even liked Tommy Lee's scripted jokes. I was kinda hope Butch Walker would make an appearance instead of just the recording of his vocals being played. Aside from that I thought the roast was pretty funny...except...
Lampanelli...I am so sick of her. The lollipop joke she's been doing on roasts for the past 15 years and she likes black men, and someone's gay, and she likes black men and...blah blah blah. I haven't seen an act that tired since the last time she did the same jokes. A couple nights ago she was on the Chevy Chase roast doing half those jokes.
Aside from that, I thought the show was funny, not as funny as Leary's but a good third go around for CC.

Did anyone else catch Courtney Love nearly falling off the stage at the end when everyone got up during the credits? Especially funny right after Pam Anderson's joke about her surprise that CL could do stand up comedy. Not that she could do comedy, but that she could stand up.
