"Bones"

After seeing a few previews/tv spots for the new Fox show debuting in September, I became slightly interested. Then, I looked it up on IMDB, and the two stars are ...

David Boreanaz ! and Emily Deschanel !

Slightly interested to very interested.

" A forensic anthropologist and an FBI agent partner up to solve murders. "

We don't need another forensic show, but c'mon ... this could be good!

*I searched, didn't find any thread on this*

I've seen the pilot and found it to be mearly OK. Emily is indeed quite yummy, although, I still prefer her sister.

I'll "werd" that.

Emily hasn't done much.

She was the receptionist who refused to pay for the late pizza delivery in "Spider-Man 2".

David Boreanaz....let's just say having him back on TV this fall is very comforting...like watching an old friend- though one who no longer has a problem with bursting into flames in sunlight, losing his soul, or battling evil lawyers

I watched it...pretty good show. Still feel kinda weird when David is walking around in the sunshine...

Heard pretty tepid reviews, and I'm not too big on these forensic shows anyway...but I'll check this out for Boreanaz.

I agree. I thought it was entertaining enough in a turn off my brain sort of way to keep watching.
Spoiler:
That bit with the hologram really made my eyes roll though.
I liked Emily in it and it's always good to have Angel back on tv.

It looks about as bad as "The Inside" was, but I'm going to give this a shot. I'm pretty sure the only way it will be halfway decent is if it's revealed that he actually IS Angel.... working undercover. Maybe I can pretend.

It looks slightly better than The Inside, imo. I don't give it three months.

Yeah ok, I'm going to agree. Slightly better than The Inside...but that would not be hard.

I still have no idea who Emily Deschanel is. Whatever happened to Fred on Angel? Now if it was her, I would be all over this show.

I'll be checking it out though I'm a bit skeptical.

I just happened to watch the "Zontar" episode of SCTV the other night, with Dave Thomas playing DeForest Kelley. Absolutely hilarious.

PS: Theater critic "Bill Needle" is also an SCTV character -- coincidence?

Nope. But I actually prefer "Bill Needle: Critic-at-Large."

Looks terrible. I saw this show before when it was called Crossing Jordan.
