And, how many cell phone towers were in the desert? I can't get a signal under a bridge.

But good special effects/body parts.

I'd guess the desert would be pretty filled with landmines and the like, as well as troops. The roads are still for the "honest" people with papers to get in and out. So...smuggling someone in the official way to get around doesn't seem odd to me. (Like smuggling illegals across the Mexican border in a vehicle instead of crossing the river.)

I'm digging the show. DVR'd the first two and watched them this weekend. Didn't delete them, which is a good sign. Will watch a few more before deciding if they will be burned to DVD or just deleted.

Wow - I wouldn't have expected that large of a drop-off.

doesn't surprise me
at another forum I post at a majority of people in the thread said they wouldn't keep watching after the 1st ep. Many didn't even finish the first ep.

Probably because they characters aren't that likeable, and there wasn't much setup in the first episode. It just basically threw everyone into the mix and hoped for the best.

I noted after the 1st episode, that there was nothing in the pilot that grabbed me, like the other F/X dramas did. The 2nd episode didn't do much in that regard neither. I wouldn't be surprised to see another drop next week.

I've enjoyed the first 2 episodes, but thought the 2nd was much better. However, unless they really start developing the characters I might lose some interest soon. For now, I'm keeping it on my season pass.
