CSI vs CSI-Miami vs CSI-NY

1. Vegas
2. Miami
Vegas will always be #1 in my heart (especially after the killer 5th season finale), but I LOVE Miami. I don't watch it on the regular schedule but I have bought both seasons on DVD and I think its great. Of course, I really enjoy David Caruso. Although they tend to make him SO ultra cool I an see why people dislike him. Like when there was a fire at a club, I thought "Hmmmm I bet Caruso shows up to this fire before the firemen/cops do" and sure enough here he pulls up in the hummer. Very funny. I love it.
I only watched about 1/4 of the first episode of CSI:NY and couldn't get into it. I might try again sometime.

All in all it is an unfair comparison, point:
All the Miami fans need to check back in 3 years and let us know if the characters are still as exciting as the first 2 seasons.

Vegas seems to be consistently good.
I like Sinise and the darkness of CSI NY.
Miami is my least favorite. I can't stand Caruso. He just bugs me. This is unfortunate since the series appears fairly well done. I just can't watch it

Never got into the original CSI, but started watching Miami when it first came on. Now I only watch it if I'm home at that time and remember that it's on. I do watch NY on a regular basis, though maybe it's only for Sinise and Kanakaredes. I don't like the way Caruso delivers his puns.

1. CSI - Las Vegas. I was hooked from the first episode, and give or take a few episodes here and there, I think it has stayed great all these years.
2) CSI - Miami. It's like the B movie all camp all the time version of CSI. Excellent.
3) CSI - NY. This show is boring and just never clicked with me. If I wanted to watch a NY cop show, I would go to any other channel and watch Law & Order. I only watch it if there is nothing else on at all.

Vegas is the only one I can like.
Caruso bringing the funny hasn't been enough to make up for the crappy stories on Miami. Wolf and Delco are also two of the biggest tools on television.
I haven't watched NY since I gave up on it last season.

For me it's Vegas, New York and then Miami.
In the last year, I have started to dislike Miami and like NY even more... right now, if I had to cut one from the list, it would be Miami.

I never saw NYPD blue, and never heard of Caruso, so my hatred of his acting has nothing to do with it. His character is so full of idiotic pathos and feeling of self-importance, he's like lead character of some hollywood B-movie from 80s. It can't be good when I cheer for criminals to outsmart him, or better yet, punch him in his smug face.
And who can forget him saving man from building about to blow up - in a matter of five seconds? (more like 10 minutes in real time?) Stupid stupid.
The look of the show IS to die for. I just like to glare at beautiful skyline, but half-episode a month is enough for me now.

I haven't seen much of Miami and NY yet, but I enjoy all of them. Vegas is by far my favorite, despite the fact that the Sidle character annoys the hell out of me (which she and the CSI who didn't make it past the pilot had switched roles). I like Miami's lead but don't care for the rest of the crew, so it's my least fav. NY seems pretty good based on the six episodes I've watched so far.

I get up early and to bed be for the prime time CSIs are on, reruns for me, so for now is's hands down for Vegas. Did see NY a few times and it seemed OK but not up to par with Vegas. Catherine makes the show for me, I must be getting way to old!!
Great Thread, Thanks
