I agree, but don't you also get anxious when he considers drinking. I was seriously getting pains watching his stand outside that liquor store. That's thanks to great writing and acting.

Such a great episode. I mean, who comes up with ideas to make the uncle a plus size model.
NY, and even more so the city, require a shit load of paperwork for handguns. you can't just buy one for someone and give it to them, then take it back a while later
although now that probie is likely to be getting past the other chick adn gun probably won't come up again, but I was figuring it'd end up getting propbie arrested

it is a TV show. Suspend belief for a few seconds of the day....

I know some FDNY guys. They gots guns.

Mostly shotguns and stuff like that, but it's a tiny step over to handguns for the purpose of the story.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of fire trucks in the city have shotguns in them. Sometimes the cops aren't so quick to respond or back you up and the ax can only do so much.

I was thinking in terms of it being used as a plot point
probie getting arrested would be great

I certainly hope between firing off a round and meeting the vet, probie is over his obsession. The "ex-girlfriend subplot" really drags down the show for me.

I watched parts of this episode again last night. "Dude, you're just like Steven Seagal!"

I loved Monkey-Boy's reaction to the Seagal comment.

Probably the best show of the season so far. I was howling during the cwat/twunt segment in the firehouse.
