I only remember seeing one tournament broadcast in HD, and yes, I think it was the PGA Championship last year. Although it was only HD when it was a shot from a mounted camera. When it switched to the on-course camera's, it was back to a regular signal, which was a bit annoying, but still awesome to watch the parts that were in HD.

ABC sports has been very slow in getting there HD product out there, except for MNF, they did not broadcast any of the NBA until the Finals in HD.
CBS owns the Masters and the PGA, and are a leader in HD broadcasting so both of those events are in likely in HD each year.
I think ABC is too cheap to upgrade there cameras for each one of these evetns.
Although NBC did not broadcast the US Open in HD either.
on another HD sports note, last year USA/CBS broadcast the US Tennis Open in HD, I hope they continue that trend with also broadcasting the night tennis on Brava/Universal HD Channel

it sucks that they still haven't figured out the white balance or whatever for golfing events. Everything goes from too dark to too light. I can understand that since it's played outdoors, in direct sunlight and then shade and so on, but I thought that technology would have figured this one out by now. I think it may also have something to do with the fact that it's a live broadcast. Anyone else notice this?
