It certainly has potential, but the pilot was just "OK".

The "Damn, I did that backwards" line had me though!

This first episode was not very good. The cast was very bland and it just seemed like they were reading their lines without putting any "acting" into it. The plot was pretty predictable and seems like a retread of various millenium/profiler/etc stories. I will watch it a few more times since theres not much else on this summer.

Same here. The pilot was nothing great, but good enough to keep me watching...for now.

While I thought the epdisode was okay, I found myself naming the influences out loud throughout the show: "Millennium...X-Files...Se7en...Silence of the Lambs...Profiler...etc. So far, Peter Coyote seems to be well-cast, but there is almost nothing believable about his team. Hopefully they will build more into each of these supposedly important people in future episodes, but seeing the previews for next week, it seems like it will be the serial killer of the week format.

Thanks to a nasty storm, I lost the feed about 10 minutes into the story. So I'm going to have to DL it. It looked interesting from what I saw.

A better debut episode than most of the profiler/csi-type shows in the past few years.

The pilot didn't garner good ratings for Fox but I'm shocked about the ratings that Dancing with the Stars got...

"Dancing with the Stars" hoofed its way to the night's biggest rating, 9.8/16, at 9 p.m. NBC was a distant second with a "Law & Order" rerun, 5.6/9, and CBS dropped to third with "The King of Queens," 5.0/8, and "Yes, Dear," 4.3/7. The dark drama "The Inside" debuted to a 3.2/5 on FOX. The WB stayed in fifth with a "Smallville" rerun. UPN's "Kevin Hill" repeat trailed.

I've got to say that I was a little disappointed after I watched the show. The teaser before the opening credits rolled was nice (the gross out with that special agent's face was unexpected, but the thing with the pager has been on ER before...). But the team interaction was weak. I love Adam Baldwin but he was almost a non-entity in this one. It's only the pilot so I'll probably watch a few more to see if it gets more interesting, but I expected a bit more characterization and depth from Minnear and co.

The pilot was very good not great. However, if Fox doesn't pull it after a few episodes like they are known to do for thier best shows ( see Wonderfalls, Firefly) it will be a great show. It has four of the best writers in TV history on board.

Just watched my recording and I kind of liked it. Peter Coyote's always interesting to watch, and his character has the potential to be intriguing with his own secrets.

Very happy I watched, though, or I wouldn't have known about Hart Bochner guest starring on an upcoming ep. LOVE him!
