"Everybody Loves Raymond" series finale

Anybody watch this? I thought it was really good. Nothing incredible, but considering how funny the show has been, it's tough to make something that really stands out.

Man...I forgot all about it. That's what I get for trying to get some online deals. Hopefully they will re-air it in a few days.

I liked it, all the bitching they do about each other during the course of the show is what makes it so funny. It was nice to see that even though they constantly bitch they really love each other, I can say the same for my family.

That, and I'm glad that there wasn't really any "big" event going on. Ray had a little surgery, and that was that.

No one was moving. No one died. No big, dramatic thing that was going to change everyone's life happened. Just...another episode.

Recorded this while I watched "24"...

Good episode. I should catch many of the episodes I missed the past 1 1/2 seasons on syndication.

The show was okay. Rosenthal had said that he didn't want to end the series with a big life changing event, so he accomplished that.

Grrrr @ my Tivo for cutting off the last few seconds. Actually, I should "grrr" at myself, since it had been running a few seconds over all season...and I was too lazy to change it .

It cut off when everybody came over during breakfast. Anything else happen?

No. The camera slowly panned out for about a minute as we watch the family continue to talk and enjoy their company. Fade to black.

It seemed to be that they tried to frame the shot in a last supper kind of way.

I thought it was a pretty good episode. Probably could have been better if something bigger happend but this show was never really about big moments.

I haven't watched the show in years because it's SO stale, but tuned in for the finale. It was decent as final shows go. They stayed with the formula, which is good for their fans.

I really like the show, but rarely get to see any new episodes. I usually only get to see the reruns (they show at 11:30 here), so the whole last season is pretty much a mystery to me.

For some reason, My Tivo only recorded the first hour (the backstage stuff), which I don't care about and didn't record the last half hour (the actual finale), which I would have liked to see. Damnit.

That's weird. Mine picked up both.

I like the last episode and am also glad that they didn't go with the parents moving away or something. I think they finished their run with class.

I also liked that they stayed true to the show.

My PVR taped the show in three half hour segments, instead of a one hour and a half hour. Strange.
