Possible "the Office" renewal info

Stumbled onto this scrap of info at zap2it.com

Not sure how reliable they are it is the first time I had seen the site but anyway the scrap of info:

On the comedy side, "My Name Is Earl," "Thick and Thin," "Fillmore Middle" and "Four Kings" are looking like contenders, and sources say the network is considering a second season for "The Office" despite meager ratings this spring.
Maybe we will find out tomorrow.

I really wanna see The Office get renewed. I think that too many people had it written off before it aired in the US.

I'd like to see it renewed.

While I will be the first to admit that I wasn't a fan of the show when it first aired, the show improved a good deal over it's short run. I'd like to see them get another shot at it...

I had low expectations going in, and was very, very pleasantly surprised. It's not my favorite show on tv, but it is nudging the top 5.

Another six episode run wouldn't cost them a thing. And they could repeat the first season as they lead up to the second season's premiere.

I was thinking about this earlier today, wondering if there was a chance it would get renewed. It's good to hear there is some hope. I don't need all-time great comedic television, just a decent half hour with a few good laughs sounds great to me, and this show was at that level from the beginning and only got better.
