Okay, they are obviously going to pull some major twists and turns in the final two eps. because this definitely had the feel of a season finale to it.

My guess is that this show will do what "Buffy" did in its days and have the setting and characters stay constant while each season will deal with a new mystery like Buffy did a big bad.

Well, at least we get more of Delfino's past uncovered. But he's still there for something else.

Felicia makes her play for Zach.

The rest was kinda boring.

I looked up Melinda McGraw (Doug Sivant's former flame on the show) and discovered that she doe mostly voice acting for cartoons and games aside from a few small appearances in films here and there. Can't imagine a fine looking woman like that not getting more work, but then again, the same can be said for the rest of the Houswives before the show (especially Marcia Cross). I guess it's just the harsh reailty that women actresses in Hollywood can only find work as long as they under 40. Fortunately this show is playing a major part in making older women attractive again.

Things are definitely starting to come together with Mike's story. I'm glad it is starting to clear up a little bit.

I'm glad Susanne's mom is gone.

I really hope that Susan's mom will finally go away. Ilike Morty, but not the mom.

Was really glad to see Kendra decide to give Susan the whole story.

Couldn't believe Paul would just cave in to Felicia(?) like he did. I kept waiting for him to come back breaking the door down to get Zach back.

When oh when will Bree and Rex figure out it is the drugs? Isn't Rex a Dr.? Seems to be skipping over an obvious solution.

Carlos - "You're practically family."

Good to finally get some answers, but the rest was pretty boring.

Next weeks show looks pretty good though.

Did I miss how Susan knew Kendra? I'm glad there was a story behind Mike's cop-killing. I figured there was.

Bob Newhart seems like a heckuva nice guy. Very likable. However, I have never found him to be the slightest bit funny in any of the shows he's done, going back to the Button-Down Mind stuff.

Good scene with Paul & Felicia. She was acting tough and ballsy, but was scared to death. No way is Paul just going to walk away from his son.

I believe she was staying at Mike's for a little while back towards beginning of the show. It was before Susan and Mike were a couple because Susan thought they were together.

Right. And that's how the ever wacky Susan and Edie ended up at the cowboy bar with Susan riding a mechanical bull..

mine tends to do this a lot with DH as well, though last night was fine. last week, about halfway through, during commercials, they did a local news 'coming up at 11...', and then it was SD for the rest of the show.

Agreed on both accounts.

I don't really care for the Gabby storyline, but Carlos's lie to her in the beginning was great capped-off by his shit-eating grin when she bought the story hook, line and sinker.

I'm wondering what kind of twists they intend to throw out in the next two weeks. I hope it's something clever and not out of left field.

You know, I've been thinking the exact same thing, and the whole Mary-Alice storyline does appear to be wrapping up.

One thing I did notice is that there's another possibility for who Zach/Dana's real father is. I've seen a lot of speculation that it could be Mike, and while it's still possible, it's also possible that it's the cop he killed.

You know, the more episodes I see, the more I think that those two deserve each other. I mean, the guy tampered with her birth control and then pinned it on his dead mother (on an episode airing on Mother's Day, no less).

After seeing Gabby run up and down those stairs, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that her pregnancy will somehow go away. Great lie by Carlos. I like their storyline myself.

Good to get some answers.

I wonder if they'll still have Mary Alice narrating the show since her storyline will most likely be wrapped up by the end of this season? I think it would be interesting if they have a different narrator every season (from that season's central "mystery"). Some might think the narration is cheesy but I really like it- it ties the themes of the episode together nicely.

I am still surprised that Gabby is acting as if she plans on having the baby. She has always been so dead set against about having children, it would have been more in her character to get an abortion before she even told anyone she was pregnant, especially Carlos.

I know she is Catholic, but that didn't stop her from committing adultery and using birth control.

She's one of those cafeteria Catholics just like almost every Catholic I know.

I wish I had kept the episode on the Tivo so I could be more descriptive, but I remember thinking when I saw it that Gabby WASN'T buying the story -- that her demeanor changed WAY too quickly when she just suddenly said "that bitch" in reference to Carlos's sainted mother. The Gabby storyline is just OK, but I'm really sick of the doe-eyed innocence that is John, the gardener. Hopefully Gabby's speech will slap him upside the head about the situation!

I certainly am one of the people this could be directed at and really, without hijacking the thread, "Desperate Housewives" is doing exactly what I wish "Lost" would do. Secret, secret, secret, secret, ANSWER, secret, question, secret, question, question, question, ANSWER.... I just want to be FED a little bit, not be bogged down in so many questions and secrets that I can't even remember what they all are! Loved your post!!

Paul and Felicia's scene about Zach...

Surpised no one's mentioned Gabby's comment about gaining weight as a tribute to Carlos' mom. Yet another reason why she should just shut up and run up and down the stairs.

Wait a minute...I thought the sequence was Secret, secret, secret, ANSWER, question, question, secret, ANSWER, question?

I suppose the reason I give Lost so much leeway is because I just plain enjoy the show. Every episode seems to just fly by, giving me not much time to question that they haven't given us answers..

Until I hit DVD Talk, that is..

You got me thinking of what are secrets/questions that are unanswered at this point. Here is what I can remember.

Spoiler:

Secret
What is the story behind Mary Alice committing suicide?

Questions Answered

Who sent the note to Mary Alice?
What was the thing that she did that was referenced in the note?
What did Zack do to Dana?
Who is Dana?
Who was the dead body in the chest?

Questions Unanswered

Who was Zack’s/Dana’s mother? I believe we know the answer to this but it hasn’t really been confirmed.
Who is Zack’s/Dana’s father?
How did Deidre find Zack?
Did Paul or Mary Alice kill Deidre?

Secret
What is Mike’s story?

Questions answered

What is he doing at Wisteria Lane?
What is the story behind his police record?

Questions Unanswered

What lead Mike to Wisteria Lane in his investigation of the disappearance of Deidre?
Is Mike Zack’s real father?

Secret
What is the thing that Tom has done that he is afraid will lead to Lynette leaving him if she finds out?

Unanswered at this point.

No unanswered secrets or questions that I can think of involving Bree/Rex, Gabby/Carlos, or Edie.

OK, what have I missed?

Why hasn't Carlos gone to jail yet? Have I missed something or have they dropped that storyline completely?
