Not as lopsided as I thought it might be, but Chloe managed to pull down a few votes. I think it might have something to do with being a semi-hot chick (hey, I'd hit it!) who can brandish a machine gun. Plays to a lot of possible fantasy scenarios...

I'd also hit it...especially at the beginning of the season, when she was wearing more makeup and nicer clothes than she had last year Marshall can't compete in that area.

"It's a digital camera. I have it at 42 exposures, but I wanna get it to 47 because... it's a prime number."

"I think I just got Hepatitis."

"They're super-swank."

"That sound that you're- you know, that 'boom'? That's my mind blowing."

"I don't know. I think it was "Go away I can smell you from here" in Ewok."

"My name is Marshall J. Flinkman, and I'm here to rescue you."

None of the above.

I'd take Mike Cannon from The Montecito. Plus he could park my car.

So as a viewer who bailed after the dismal Season 2 of 24 (the cheap cliffhanger with the president was the final straw) but have liked Mary Lynn Rajskub in comedy sketch shows and Punch Drunk Love, would seasons 3 and 4 be worth giving another chance just to see her as Chole, or would I be rolling my eyes and tearing my hair out at the plot like I did with much of season 2?

Anyway, I guess my answer would be Marshall right now, by default. The Marshall centric episodes of Alias have been some of my favorite episodes of that show.

Chloe's unintentionally funny. Her character is so annoying and obnoxious that we all laugh at it, and so in some sick way, she's become a fan favorite. It's really twisted, but in a show where nearly every character is a bland puppet, brooding and whispering at the speed of plot, she is a welcome departure from the norm. To answer your question, though, if you thought Season 2's ridiculous plot was painful, you'd be best to stay away from 3 and 4.

I voted for Chloe because she'd have no problem telling co-workers what a horrible job they're doing. Plus, of the two, she's the one I'd most like making a visit to my office.

I don't watch Alias or 24, but I'd like to vote for Chloe since Mary-Lynn Rajskub is hilarious and dated David Cross for quite some time !

Thanks. I was half asleep when I answered and a little voice inside me was saying I got it wrong the whole time. Edited to reflect correct name.

Marshall hands down. He's not only Chloe's equal as a computer geek, but he could also give Q(Bond, not TNG) a run for his money as far as inventing gadgets. Plus the Alias episodes with him in the field are always classic:

(in a cheesy English accent)"If it ain't Baroque, don't fix it!"

Marshall seems like a much more well rounded character, he's got the technical skills, the ability to make stuff, has been in the field more.

Chloe is a little wishy washy. Granted she's stuck by Jack but she questions everything and is annoying to no end.

For tech support? Marshall? Come On! He is a pretty cool character, but if you need something on the fly Chloe can get it instantaneously. Not only that, she can open a socket and give you a live sat feed directly to your palm in 30 seconds flat. Not only that she doesn't take shit from nobody. "I'm not watching your baby!" Marshall seems to be a push-over(I've only seen season 1).

If I needed a gadget, I would call marshall. If I needed tech support, definitely chloe.

Marshall annoyed me to tears especially in the first two seasons therefore my vote goes to Chloe. She rocks!

Yep! He failed the first time though.

Jack Bristow had to give him better directions the second time around. He basically told him he had to treat it like a soft boiled egg when removing it.

Although I'm a huge Chloe fan, I STILL gotta go with goth Abby from NCIS.
Last week she was wearing a short plaid schoolgirl type skirt.

Chloe rules. The other dude from Alias irritates me with his presence alone.
