I love ancient history but this was so unhistorical I was yelling at the screen. The fictionalizing would have been forgivable except for the fact that the true story is far, far more interesting.

I don't think I would watch this on a weekly basis if it was a series, but it was interesting enough (and looked pretty good in HD), that I'll watch the whole mini.

I hate to hear this. I never understand why the hack writers mess with such intersting stories, I guess most have never study them to know how good they really are.

I liked this week's episode a lot. It reminded me of some of the good episodes of Xena. Only 3 more hours to go, so I'll hang with it.
