Live Action Simpsons Cast
First, let me just say that I think a live action Simpsons show or movie would be a HORRIBLE idea. Even a feature length animated movie would be pretty unecessary. Even so, speculating who might fill the roles is fun just for sh*ts and giggles. Here are some of my choices, would love to hear yours.
Ned Flanders--William H. Macy (an obvious choice, even the producers said he would be the best choice on one of the season commentaries)
Mr. Burns--Christopher Lee (I think this would be a lot of fun to see)
Cheif Wiggum--Joe Don Baker (It would be better if he was 15 years younger or so, but really, who better than Mitchell?)
Comic Book Guy--Kevin Smith
Moe--Steve Buscemi (not sure why really, but Ive never seen a movie that didnt benifit from having him)
Marge Simpson--Julie Kavner (the only member of the voice cast that should play their real life counterpart. She actually looks a good bit like how I imagine Marge would like)
Bart Simpson--Frankie Muniz (I dunno, Bart is supposed to be around 9 or 10, but I think a live action Bart would be a little older)
and finally,
Homer Simpson--James Gandolfini (I know a lot of people are probably thinking WTF, but think about it...he looks A LOT like Homer, and he isnt the obvious choice)
Speaking of the obvious choice, I remember an episode where Bart suggested to Homer that John Goodman should play him in a movie and Homer begins strangling Bart while saying: "Thats...so...obvious!...It...should be...Gary... Oldman!" LOL
So what about some of the others? Apu, Smithers, Barney, Skinner, Mrs. Krabapple, Groundskeeper Willy, etc.

Mr. Burns - Sidney Poitier
Smithers - Damon Wayans
Moe - Chris Rock
Chief Wiggum - Bernie Mac
Patty & Selma - Eddie Murphy in a dual role.
Why not? If we're going to entertain a really sucky idea of a live action Simpsons, might as well set the phaser on supersuck.

You mean Chris Rock. Sean Penn would be all for "one of the greatest actors" being in it.

That was one of the scariest thread titles I think I've ever read.
Yeah, I have no suggestions as I'm still in shock over thinking this was an approved plan.

There's this guy on Home and Garden TV (HGTV) Paul James that hosts Gardening By The Yard that is the spitting image and personality of Flanders.
