This was a really tight episode featuring the really nasty side of Lex and later on, Lionel as well. Vicious Lex was fun to watch. It's a shame not all the episodes can be this entertaining to watch. Rosenbaum did a good job with his dual roles and selling me on the evil that is within Lex to his core.

well, there's the kryponite ring that he'll later use to stay safe from superman
when did clark learn about all the different kryponite types including black?
edit: oh wait, martha used it on clark/kal-el before

It's weird, when this show is good, it's so very good, but the rest of the episodes can be so fluffy and inconsequential at times.
Looks like Lionel has the eye of the tiger once again. Way to go, evil Lex!

This is one of my absolute favorite shows, but i've had the hardest time this season staying with the show, mainly due to the long gaps between fresh episodes. What are they doing, tryin' to kill the show's audience and ratings?
Anyway, after reading the positive feedback from this episode, i can't wait to watch it on my DVR.

Saw it for the first time in awhile. It's frustrating. They had the opportunity tonight to do something REALLY gutsy. They could've killed off the good Lex without anybody knowing it. Thus giving an AWESOME explanation for how evil Lex comes about.

Where would this show be without Michael Rosenbaum?
This episode was awesome!! Like the above poster mentioned, when this show is on its REALLY on! I love this show no matter what but this episode was off the scale. Loved the evil Lex, and Michael pulled it off great. I hope this guy has a great acting future and doesn't end up some fan boy burn out from some TV show/movie, like Mark Hamill.
Being a fan boy myself I loved seeing the krypto ring that Lex wears in the comic books to keep Superman away, great ode to the comics. Which for you non fan boys everntually gives Lex cancer, and is later cloned and his brain removed to Lex 2. That shits complicated though, hit me up if you wanna know that shit.
I really liked the moment with Clark and Lana in the loft, just about when they were going to have a Clana scene the phone rings.
Evil Lex was downright nasty with Lana, great scene though, really shows you that he indeed has feelings for Lana, who doesn't shit I want to bang her, Lois and Chloe, shit at the same time too!!
Ya there were some cop outs, the whole amnesia thing (which I think is BS, I think Lex remembers everything, or most) and plot holes up the ass, but hey fuck it its TV.
Loved it!!

Wow - I didn't even bother watching. I thought it was another repeat.

At this point, I'm just completely antagonistic against all the characters. The only part I enjoyed was evil Lex putting Lana in her place... the rest of it was just completely ho-hum.

That was definitely the best part.
Do we get a Richard Pryor guest spot?

Well, at least we're getting evil Lionel back.
