South Park 04/13 - The Death of Eric Cartman

This week on South Park, Cartman is dead and Butters seems to be the only one who can communicate with him!

Butters is freaked out when he thinks he can communicate with the dead. Although his parents have made it clear to him there are no such things as ghosts, Butters is sure one is haunting him. Butters knows he has to give up his ghost pal or be put into a mental institution.

If Butters gives up his ghost pal, who will help him insert his suppository?

It is interesting that since like season six the rest of the kids have given up picking on Butters except for Cartman.

Oh hamburgers, it's BUTTERS!

This should be sweet. I wonder if Cartman is really 'dead', or if he's just screwing around with Butters.

Sounds promising. Lots of Cartman and Butters usually equals comedy gold.

This sounds a lot like the episode with Awesome-O. Hopefully it will be as good as that one.

That scene has to be the funniest thing I have ever seen.

Hahahahah...during that song Eric sang, (which was played over the handing out of fruit baskets) I laughed my ass off when they inserted a clip of him in a studio recording it with Butters and some sort of producer...Haaaa...the season is getting better with each episode.

I liked the montage of former characters during the song. Scott Tenorman at his parents graves had me

"I'm not going to heck, I'm not black"

The scene with Cartman thinking his mom was crying when she was really getting nailed by the delivery guy was great.

The montage was awesome, as was Cartman's slow stepping back.
Butters in the hospital had me

to this one!

Good episode. Personally I enjoyed last week's better, but I'm sure I'll be in the minority. My absolute favorite part was when Kenny started crying over the chicken!! Cartman reading off his "list" was pretty good.. I guess you don't realize how bad some of the shit he's pulled is because at the time they're making a joke of it. I really like the last two episodes in that they were just funny while not trying to be gross, shocking or trying to shove political views down our throats. Much props for that.

These were definitely the best parts. I have to add Cartman eating only the skin of the fried chicken.

I'll have to rewatch it, but I'm pretty sure the tombstone just to the right of the Tenormans' said "A Kut..." I think Scott's uncool, crybaby head was blocking the rest of the name. Guess they're not big fans of Ashton either.

From the Parker/Stone commentaries, you know that they hate Cartman, and absolutely love Butters. So why do they treat Butters as if they absolutely hate him?
