Let's hope this episode keeps Chi McBride's character out of the way as much as possible.

I agree. I like him as an actor, but his character is this show is completely useless and makes it less enjoyable.

oh my freakin lord, they basically just ruined this entire show for me with unprecedented stupidity. i used to look forward to this show now i don't even really want to watch the next episode. the house-cameron thing was incredibly stupid in every scene, but the worst, the absolute worst thing was the ending. when the music started i cringed. but the thing i hated was what the writers were trying to imply. they think the audience is going to be impressed and say, "wow, get it? she left house, the person and the building"

They can't get rid of Cameron, I don't think. She's one of the main one of only 2 female characters on the show. Either they find some way to keep everyone or Chase gets the boot. Chase+Vogler are just unwanted baggage dragging the show now.

I liked the senator this episode.

What kind of hospital are they working in? They overhead camera shots of it make it look like some sort of estate, and it seems like no case (aside from the clinic ones) can be anything ordinary.

I missed the last 5 minutes of the show. Basicly everything after House's speech. Anyone care to clue me in? I asssume something between him and Cameron.

I'm a bit in the dark. It seemed like House was all ready to bit the bullet and give the speech and then the senator said something that seemed to justify that "You assume you can't make a difference if you don't win?" or something, then House tanks the speech?

I reeeeeeeeeeeally don't like Chase now. Before he was some what sympathetic, but now that he just seems like an ass.

House is set in Princeton, NJ, in the fictional "Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital" (from the exterior shots, the Princeton University infirmary and surrounding buildings).

Since the next episode is called "Baby & Bathwater", I'm sensing that Cameron's backstory will finally get a little more prominence.

5 new episodes left! I'm guessing there will be another week or two of repeats to pad out the remaining episodes to May 24th.

It's stupid how quickly they turned Chase heel.

The music near the end was a bad sign, at least they didn't kiss, I guess

Cameron showed up at House's place, and said she was quitting because it was too hard to work with him because her feelings weren't reciprocated (that was more implied than stated outright, IIRC). She put out her hand for him to shake, but he just stood there looking to the side and doing nothing, and she left.

He's a great character, but damn I wanted to beat the hell out of him.

And she also said something like "All along I thought you do the things you do because you want to help people. But now I realized that the real reason is because they're the right things to do." Also she said she was leaving because there were only 2 ways the situation could go, and one of those ways was under her control. Then she told him she was leaving.

I was expecting House to get up to give his speech and just say something like "well, I was told that I had to either say some good things about this 'new' medication, or else one of my three assistants would be fired. And make no mistake about it, that's the truth. I was told to fire one of my assistants just because Mr Millionaire wanted to prove he could control me, patients be damned. Then he said I could save all 3, if he could use my reputation to push his treatment."

I'm actually surprised that he didn't.

I loved how the Wislon/House relationship was reversed for the one scene. The look on Wilson's face when he realizes House has feelings for Cameron was great.

I thought clinic case this week was good too.

I don't like how the whole Cameron thing has played out. They've completly ignored the "date" the 2 of them went on to the Monster Truck event.

I agree that Vogler and now what they've turned Chase into is dragging the show down.

Oh yeah! I was highly amused by that. Wilson really is a good character. I didn't like him at first but I the character now. His sound board scenes with House are some of the best scenes on the show.

So in one night patients get to both House and Dr. Cox (Scrubs)? Something must be in the water.

If you want to see unprecedented stupidity, watch the last two episodes of 24.

If she doesn't come back, I am going to flip the fuck out!!!!

House's presentation was amazing. Loved how they showed Chase just downing that entire glass of wine.

I liked the episode. It's always a pleasure to watch Joe Morten in action - though House basically sufficating him was kinda creepy. I didn't mind the Cameron storyline mostly because I don't think they'll get rid of her and her actions were completely in character. The House/Wilson scene was great and I wish they would delve more into Wilson's background.

That's bugged me, too. How they ignore that major detail is beyond me.

I'm guessing that
Spoiler:
Cameron will be back
since (I think)
Spoiler:
Chi McBride's character is only supposed to appear in one more episode.
I would think that
Spoiler:
they'd find a way to bring her back once Vogler leaves, and in a sense, letting him think that he's won.

House specifically said it wasn't a real "date". His feelings for her have remained deeply buried because he's so emotionally fucked-up.
