This episode basically convince me that I'm smarter than Trump. Seriously, what did Chris do in that episode? Go shopping and lose a credit card? So apparently the less you do, the less of a chance you have of screwing something up, and the better your chances of riding someone else's coattails, in this case Alex and Angie. Geez, no wonder Trump's properties keep going bankrupt.
In truth, I thought he was going to fire both of them (Angie and Chris). Angie choked, but Chris just comes off as being totally useless.

I'm not sure why no one is blaming Alex for this task. He didn't do anything. If it was any other project manager and they assigned every important task to someone else then they would have been fired.

I also thought that Trump was gonna fire both Angie & Chris.

I enjoy the show, but I am losing respect for it... if that makes sense.
Since when does the team leader get a "get out of jail free" card? It seems so aribtrary how Trump chooses people. The team leader totally failed in making sure just about ANYTHING happened on this task. Angie did almost everything. Chris was totally lame, had a very simple task that he managed to hose. Out of only three team members, the leader seemed to have delegated everything.
In previous episodes, I can hear Trump saying "but you were the team leader right? Isn't it your reponsibility to make sure that the jacket was picked up? That Angie was prepared? That you were at the presentation on time?" But all we hear is that he was good, just being dragged down by the team mates. Was he dragged up by his team mates before he switched teams?
In the end, it seems that the main thing we learn from this show, is that to not step in front of the bullet, is the way to succeed. Shirk of responsibility, at least early on. Don't be the team leader. Spend your efforts making sure you are not to blame. Yeah, that is the kind of people I want in my company. NOT.
Out of the three people in that boardroom, Angie would be the one I would hire.

Reading these threads (2 since Erin was canned) makes me glad I'm not watching this show anymore. Sounds like Trump is now (from the past few weeks) doing things for the "water-cooler" factor instead of keeping the best "players".
At least the first 2 seasons, the people that got fired were relatively the ones that deserved it, and in the end, the best people won out. Doesn't seem to be happening this season. I think the Donald and his cronies are getting big heads from all of the air time and logic is failing them.
