Nikko, Vonzell and of course Anthony are my bottom 3.

Anwar can sing. I don't know what people are talking about.

I'm going with Federov leaving, though I can see Scott leaving.

I believe Simon used only one word for Anthony - Hideous.

What, these kids have never seen a freaking musical before? You'd think they were asking them to sing Martian tunes.

Paula is absolutely useless by this point. When was the last time she said anything constructive and not just stroking?

Scott Savol - He should be again charged with assault & battery. On my ears.
Anwar Robinson - Not bad.
Nadia Turner - Better stage presence than a singer, but still good.
Carrie Underwood - She bores me. Go on Nashville Star.
Bo Bice - Vocals were okay, but the song was dreadful.
Constantine Maroulis - Best of the night
Anthony Federov - Bad
Vonzell Solomon - Very good.
Nikko Smith - I hate those stupid vocal gymnastics. Just sing the fucking thing.

This was a bad category for most of the contestants, and none of them really hit a home run out of the park tonight.

Very good:

Carrie - she's got an effortless voice, and did a good job with the song she picked.

Good:

Vonzell - the middle of the song sagged, but she continues to not only push her range, but actually hits her mark when she goes for it.

Okay:

Bo - the bad thing was that he tends to slur the words into something unintelligible for much of the song, so it wasn't that great for me.

Anwar - finally sang the song in tune without all the meanderings he usually goes on while singing, and had a good time with it.

Nadia - she's like a decent actress singing for a part that requires singing, i.e., competent in going through the motions of singing, but the actual singing is just okay, and doesn't have that extra gear to send a song into a higher level.

Not good:

Constantine (AKA Velveeta) - should have tried out for "Fame" because he tries so hard to have this larger-than-life persona on stage, but just comes off looking cheesy. Though he finally held a note longer than 4 seconds, it still comes off too whiney sounding to me.

Scott - sang that song in too high a key for his voice, and he hit the ceiling on some of the notes, and didn't really make it a compelling performance.

Nikko - 75% of the song was horrendous, only the give-n-take with the other vocal made the ending soung okay. I will never like the way he sings songs if he keeps trying to pigeon-hole songs into that R&B riff.

Anthony - most of the song was sung too low, and the higher notes went flat for him, and he desperately needs a fashion makeover because it looked like he was dressing for 70's night.

I think bottom 3 will be Anthony, Nadia, and Scott.

Simon uses that characterization or some variation thereof every week about Anthony. It doesn't make it any more true. I read a post in another forum that pondered that perhaps Simon is indulging in an Eastern European Twink Domination Fantasy by always trashing Anthony, no matter what he does. Always a possibility.

Yeah, don't think this show tonight didn't make me feel ancient (and a little gayer) for knowing "Hello, Young Lovers" and "As Long As He Needs Me" before last Thursday.

What was with cutting off Simon every time. Seriously, he should be going first. Everyone rips the guy, but is he ever wrong?

Paula is completely unwatchable. I can't stand her.

Scott, Anthony, and Bo/Nadia were my bottom 3 (4). Bo was completely out of his element and Nadia chose a song where she didn't have to showcase a voice at all. Other than Constantine and Carrie (with secondary kudos to Vonzell), I thought everyone else was totally dull. Bad genre this week--the show sucked.

how many more times do i have to say this...PLEASE GET RID OF FEDEROV!!! his voice is so bad that my wife and i sit and laugh and see who can get closest to it. he has never-ever impressed me. and what is up with his look now...hanging out with wanna-be rocker Con job way too much.

speaking of the Con-job...how gross is this guy? he tries so hard to be "sexy" and he comes off like a slime ball. the guy should know that the eye squinting is hideous and and lip thing was practically copyrighted by bill idol so he can give it all up now...HE DOES NOT ROCK!!!

i can't believe how sucked in i can get to this show...i hate the music, wouldn't purchase anyones album, have never voted...but here i am again, watching it and critiquing it...oh well.

Simon added very little to the people he doesn't like. He did give advice to Carrie (don't sing old) and Bo - go in the other direction. He was of course flippant and mean to Anthony and a few others and probably has tuned them out regardless of what they do. I think personally that

Scott, Niko and Nadia/Anwar should be the bottom three. Bo was boring and slurring his words but he is probably safe which is too bad.

Edit to add - if Simon thinks that the duck-quacking/ singing of Fantasia is great and wants to continue to pimp her, well to each his own.

I tend to agree with both of these statements.

Carrie bores me to sleep...she may have a nice voice but how can i ever be expected to listen to that same boring sound for 40 minutes on an album...she sounds nice but is extremely boring.

Nikko cant hit a lot of notes and tends to go off key...he covers it, like a lot of singers, with his R&B twang or whatever you want to call it...notice how we can all sound good singing kieth sweat songs (dont even know how to spell it), that is what im talking about. same thing is going on with Nikko, he covers a lot up and it is very basic really.

I really thought Nadia had the best performance of the night, which isn't saying a lot in comparison to the others. Carrie was also very good but the song was VERY boring.

Sorry, but I actually thought Anthony did better than Scott this week. I was dumbfounded that the judges had anything to say good about Scott after that horrendous cracking of his voice on the last note, but then I realized that they probably couldn't even hear it over the crowd.

Contstentine, eh. Interesting arrangement but he's starting to bug me. Bo was totally out of his element and I agree that he would have killed if Hair was on the list, but I would have had him choose "Easy to Be Hard."

I think the press is going to get Scott knocked off this week. Probably Anthony next week.

Scott or Anthony should get the boot tomorrow.

And Consty is starting to get real cocky.

There were so many other songs they could have picked, most of the songs were boring.

That said, I felt the vocals over all were 10 x better than last week.

Carrie and Vonzell should be the last two standing.

It's because of people like you that I've installed a computer auto-dialer to vote...errrr, I mean, it's a good thing she has a strong fan base to support her!

I thought it was a very average performance by everybody tonight. Maybe it had to do with the theme.

Somebody pissed on Simon's corn flakes. Wow, was he in a foul mood.

My bottom three will be Anwar, Anthony and Nikko. I don't like Scott but I thought he performed better tonight than those three.

Okay, guys, no more showtunes. It just doesn't work. Shit, Simon used to tell contestants that they were too Broadway. I mean, Jesus Christ, fucking "Camelot."

Nobody really stood out tonight.

Carrie still bores the shit out of me, but she's safe.

Really unspectacular night from everyone.

And, for the love of God (or Simon Fuller) ditch Paula "You're all winners!" Abdul before next season starts. She acts like she's on acid.

But Anthony's probably going home.

My prediction for the bottom three:

Anthony (Hideous)
Scott (Blah)
Nadia (Soft support)

I would agree with that, but I think Anthony should be in the bottom 3 with Scott and Nikko. I didn't think Anthony was sharp and flat all over the place like Randy said, just for the last couple verses going for the high notes.

I will be surprised if it isn't one of those three that are eliminated. I was worried when Bo said he just picked a song at random. Pretty dumb move, but he did well enough that he shouldn't have to worry.

I thought Scott gave his worst performance in a while, and he'd be my pick to go this time. Carrie sounded the best, and Constantine did the best overall. Randy was right about him, that was definitely his element.

Nadia looked great in that dress, I just wish they could've done something with her hair.

I took that post to mean, those were the shows they asked for clearance on after the contestants chose what they would be singing.

I wouldn't say HEAVILY medicated, but I do think she keeps a bottle of hooch under the desk, or that isn't water in her Coke glass. Simon says something nice and she wants to lay wet sloppy kisses on him, tonight she looked like she was ready to punch him in the face. I think the specific instance this time was after Anthony's performance. He loves to rail on Anthony as much as Paula loves to give standing ovations.
