Battlestar Galactica - 4/1/05
Kobol's last gleaming part II
Adama preparing to oust President Roslin. After Roslin orders Starbuck to take off in a captured Cylon fighter without Adama's consent, Adama orders Tigh to board Colonial One and take the president into custody. The plot doesn't quite go as planned, however, when a most unlikely mutineer gets in the way. Back on Galactica, Adama's daring attack on the Cylon base ship has disturbing ramifications for the entire fleet.

I thought it was 2.
Will we Baltar head the Cylons now or return to Galactica?
Who cares if she is pregnant? She is STILL a cylon, the enemy.

You put a nuke (which seems to be the most powerful weapon that both the Cylons and Humans have) inside a ship, it will blow the ship. Ever think that the Cylons allowed Boomer to leave? One BaseStar seems like a pretty good tradeoff for killing the military commander of the enemy.

Cmdr. Adama is NOT dead! He is not!
Apollo's such a bitch. When Papa Adama gets better, he better give him a beatdown. But my guess is that we'll just see Starbuck along Papa Adama's bed. "Well, the president was right after all... we should put her back in power blah blah."
The scenes with Number Six and Balter was pretty comedic.

Almost a pitch-perfect slice of science fiction nirvana.
My only gripe with it was the multiple-naked Boomer scene. They should've just put black dresses on the Boomercylons if they couldn't show nudity (or Grace Park was unwilling to go all out for the scene); between all of the shadows used to conceal her body and the obvious CGI compositing used in the scene, it looked terrible.

WOW!!! Just finished the ep. from a tape I made and while I should have seen the ending, I didn't. I just forgot that Boomer was Cylon for a brief moment, and it really bit me.
The fight between Katiebuck and Number Six was sexy, but intense at the same time. I was half expecting Six to kiss Starbuck just to taunt.

missed the ep on Sci-Fi friday but had it on my computer already. Just finished it and WOW! Either that was actually Grace Park naked in the distance or it was body doubles. Either way, someone was actually nude.
I understand why Helo wouldn't want to shoot Caprica Boomer and why he stopped Starbuck from shooting her as well (his baby afterall). What I can't see is how Starbuck doesn't shoot/kill Caprica Boomer somehow while Helo isn't looking. (I'm assuming the baby survives the trip back to where Galactica is)
How come Starbuck was not impaled on that thing that killed #6 on Caprica? It clearly showed the object was at least a foot through the body and Starbuck was definitely laying right up against her when she made the THUD on the floor!
If the Cylons know about the Arrow, why didn't they take it with them?

There's no real reason to believe the arrow that Starbuck has means anything. CapricaSix was probably just in the area tailing Boomer and Helo and decided to follow Starbuck when she showed up.

I have a feeling the arrow itself holds no meaning, I think the Arrow of Apollo relates to Apollo himself somehow. Something he will do in the future will lead them to Earth. It might not even pay off until the end of the series, but who knows.

While rewatching the last episode with the podcast, I remembered another point/question about the episode.
There were plenty of nukes that were set off on Caprica. If Starbuck needs anti-radiation med. how has Helo survived for over 50 days?!! And how the hell did his sperm survive?!! Your sperm/egg cells are the most sensitive and are the first to get deformed/mutate when exposed to extreme radiation.

I don't think this will happen, but when the Doctor and 6 were at that cradle, it crossed my mind that in the miniseries, he could have been with any number of "six's". That is, he could have unknowingly fathered tons of kids.
