I'd have to say I enjoyed this one the most of any of the new ones so far. A fine mix of current events, pop culture, and epic scale. Cartman was at his funny best as well.

This one was absolutely brilliant. Using a riff on The Last Starfigher with the PSP to comment on the Terri Schiavo thing and also throwing in an appearance from Satan and his new boyfriend, they created a classic episode here - social commentary with plenty of laughs - it was predictable but very, very fun.

Good episode tonight. Loved how they rolled everything together. The continuity with "only Mormons get into heaven" thing was great. They also did one other nod to continuity towards the end of the ep (I think), but I can't remember what it was. I remember thinking it was funny at the time, though.

Amazing how quickly they can turn these current events episodes out. Loved the The Last Starfighter spoof too. It wasn't a great episode, but it was pretty solid.

I'm a Republican, and laughed til my ass bled (better go check out that butt paste in the freebie forum) Finally good to see trey and matt make a neat little current events episode that wasnt too preachy! Would of been better if Schiavo had died Wednesday, but Ill take the day after death as being pretty damn good timing!

So now Kenny is dead dead again. How are we sure he won't come back again? I remember the episode where he finally died 'for real' and then the others were trying to get to heaven to find out where his winning ticket was.

Then a season or so goes by, and he's back. I never did fully understand how they explained him coming back, but maybe that's part of the joke.
Yeah, I'm a Republican too. Great line.

As far as Kenny coming back:
There was an episode where Kenny's ashes were accidentally drunk by Cartman. When he did so, Kenny's soul was trapped in Cartman's body. That lasted for a few episodes. Then Cartman goes to Scotland where Chef's parents promise to break Kenny's soul out. Kenny's soul flies around, which is trapped in a pot roast. Somehow, it escapes and Kenny enters into the body of Rob Schinder, who dies. Eventually, during the Christmas episode that year, Kenny appears and everything returns to normal.

Quickly?

The case first really fired up 2 years ago.

Even if you want to discount that and keep it to the most recent fight, that's been a couple months. They worked in the capture of Hussein in 3 days.

Brilliant use of Kenny dying. Any other show and it would have been an immediate tipoff if a main character died. I applaud Matt and Trey for having the courage to address this. This whole media circus has been horrific, and if you get into the government getting into private citizens' lives, it becomes very scary.

Best episode of the new season.

Had references to Last Starfighter, Constantine, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings. Plus infering the media is a bunch of A-Holes for the Terri Schiavo coverage was great.

It was the best this season, I'll give them that. However, while it had its jokes, it wasn't Season 5 greatness.

It's funny since it doesn't poke fun at Terri, but the idiots and assholes who have been using her for their own gain.
