I somewhat enjoyed last weeks.

Carrel was on Leno last night and they showed a clip of the employees in a race/discrimination class, very reminiscent of the BBC's sexual harrassment class. It looked hysterical.

Tuesday gets more crowded by the week: Amazing Race, Project Greenlight, Invasion Iowa, The Shield, The Office. Good thing FX and Spike repeat their shows later in the evening.

I watched the pilot, and am also an avid BBC Offcie fan. I found the NBC version funny, with enjoyable characters. I will definately stick around for the rest of the season.

"Abraham Lincoln once said, if you are racist, I will bring down the North on you." - was that the exact quote or was it slightly different? That line was fantastic.

Well, that was unfortunately below mediocre.

I'll stick around, but if the first two episodes are any indication...

Wow. That was surprisingly good. They had me rolling a couple times.

Nothing as good as the "Free Love Freeway" mind you, but I have to admit...that was funnier than everything on TV not named Arrested Development.

I really hate that Dwight guy.

... while I though this ep was funny, I liked last weeks so much better.

Hilarious! I'm not sure how people who love the original Office don't like this too. Steve Carell's Chris Rock joke was classic. I'm going to watch this one again.

hmmm...I dunno. It hasn't won me over yet. In fact, it seems to be a step backward to me. I just can't seem to seperate these people from the originals that I love so much. I think mainly because this episode while not an exact copy, was pretty damn close and these new people I just don't think are as good.

I did lol a couple times. But overall, so far at least, Carrell is no Ricky Gervais. And watching these just make me want to watch the originals again.

I liked the Tim guy better this week than last week. The Gareth guy was just horrible this week. He seems to suffer from the same thing that Carrell's character suffers from - they're just jerks.

It's only 2 eps so far and I'm definitely not giving up. Though I'm a little worried since they didn't show a preview for next week. WUWT?

This show gets me to laugh louder than any network sitcom probably ever.

When he said "That doesn't make any sense.....they aren't called collard people" I almost died.

I did think that was funny, and few other moments were funny as well, but it hasn't made me lol.
I have never watched the BBC version, how close are they. I know the English version of the show has like a cult following, and i was planning on giving this a try, but i just haven't been able to get into it. Maybe i was just expecting too much b/c of the great word of mouth for the original, but i'll give it few mre weeks.

As someone who has not watched a single second of the original, I found this show not funny at all. ... at least not enough to keep me watching. None of the characters spoke to me...there was not one charismatic or memorable character in the bunch...if I didn't know steve whatshisface from his news anchor characters ....I'd remember even less.

I thought it ruled!

Apparently the original was better cause it's British, and Britain's a part of Europe, and Europeans are WAY more cultured AND intellectual than Americans....except the blue staters.

I have seen the brittish version, and I must admitt I really enjoyed the hell out of this episode. Is may be just me but I actually think Micheal is actually funny?
Him doing the Chris Rock skit was hilarious.

My favorite line of the night had to be:

"You whanna get high?"
"No"
"I think you do mon"

I'll keep watching

i thought the best part was the girl falling asleep at the end, that was kinda sweet, and the only part that seemed real. but I didn't think the show was going for sweet or real. the more i try and think about this show, the more I think that maybe i just don't get it. As a rule I enjoy british humor too. I love MP, hitchhikers guide to the galaxy, and Dr. who, but i just can't get into this...

I loved this episode.

There were about 3-4 times when i just died laughing. I finished season 1 of the british verison, although i though that was real funny, espically the boss this came pretty close to matching the original.
