Yep, exactly. Dropped like a stone. I think I gave it about 4-6 episodes after they killed Denny but that was too many. It just kept getting worse and worse every week.

I caught the elevator scene while switching channels (I recognized the one doc from Crossing Jordan so I stopped).

That was weird.

MrX 05-20-08 10:56 AM

I'm about 5 episodes behind

There's been new eps the last two weeks and no threads, hence this one ;)

DJariya 05-20-08 05:13 PM

I created 2 threads when the show came back from the strike and they were pretty much ignored.

invisiblegt 05-20-08 05:38 PM

I still watch. The last episode felt as though it were written with a bit more wit than the usual fare, and was, as such, an improvement.

As a whole, I do enjoy the show. Granted, Kate Walsh has been missed, but I enjoy the manner in which they've developed Sloan/Derek's friendship. I wish that they could "reset" George/Izzie, if only because their friendship was always a welcome respite at times from the chaos surrounding the hospital.

I'll be back for more.

I don't know why either, but she really bugs me. I watched seadon 1 on DVD, but had a hard time getting through season 2. I like the show OK but a lot of the characters are pretty unlikable to me.

Grey's Anatomy Season Finale ~ 5/22/08

No one else seems to have made a thread so I figured I would.

When are they going to kill Meredith or McDreamy already? How many times can you break up and get back together in one show? I thought it was an okay finale otherwise. I liked George and Bailey's storylines.

TGM 05-23-08 08:40 AM

I don't watch the show, but evidently the creator of it

Spoiler:
is going to stop fucking around with those two characters, and keep them together once and for all

for whatever that is worth

I really liked the second to last song from this ep and I had to find it. If anyone else is interested, it's from a new artist:

"The Quest" by Bryn Christopher

Available on iTunes June 9th.

magiccmom 05-23-08 09:02 AM

I'm thinking it's McDreamy's turn for some drama. Looked like he was setting himself up for some accident or something. The whole wait for me till I get back thing justs tells me he wont be back.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Pretty good finale. I'm laughing at Dr. Bailey finally realizing that she needs to spend more time with her family. I remember those comments coming from the posters on the thread when the clinic opened.

Jadzia 05-23-08 09:48 AM

I really liked this episode.

Didn't Dr. Bailey separate from her husband? I was confused when she was talking about going home to her husband.

Concrete guy looked familiar.

Anyone know who did the last song - when Merideth & Derek were outside?

Since he chose Meredith over Rose I'm thinking he has a brain tumor of his own.

Giantrobo 05-23-08 10:14 AM

I'll have to catch this online because I couldn't watch it last night. I'm looking forward too it.

Yeah I think when she was venting to Addison last week she said her Hubby moved out. She was saying how weird it was to sleep alone. Maybe I assumed she stayed home?

It's being rerun tonight (Friday) at 8 if you want to catch it on TV.

Anyone else think Hahn looks like Rocky Dennis?

Pretty strong final hour for this season, but on the whole, the season was not a great ride.

Yeah, I know it is her, but it looks like she has gained about 60 pounds since then, probably 40 in her face. Not that she was particularly attractive to begin with.

Since "Lambs" she's played a lot of "Best Girlfriend" roles. You know, the friend who's always there with words of wisdom for the main character type.

Doug Heffernan 05-24-08 06:30 AM

Can someone fill me in on how George and Izzy went from being soulmates, to now not even acknowledging each other? I must have missed something?

Mr. Salty 05-24-08 02:07 PM

So, where and how exactly did Meredith manage to buy about 300 candles and 300 glass candle holders, transport them out to McDreamy's property, and set them up in perfectly straight lines in the dark of night on a grassy hillside all by herself?

Liked the episode too. I assumed that since Bailey decided to give up the clinic she also decided to move back in with her hubby. I seem to remember last week (or maybe the week before; I'm confused) George babysat so Bailey and hubby could talk.
