Help, need to identify this "old" cartoon...

Help, need to identify this "old" cartoon...

Okay, it's an old cartoon (not that old though), aired around the same times as Thundercats, He-man, etc... It has some Voltron looks to it (Japanese anime?). The bad guys are bunches of talking tanks. They have organic stem on top, i remember one of them has a big saw blade attached to the stem. I have no memories of the good guys.

Can anyone tell me the name of this cartoon? Thanks!

No, not Gotbots... The good guys are human, i don't recall robots.

Yes. that's it... wow, it brings back memories, thanks so much! Now, i can tell my little brother (he's married now) what was that cartoon we watched back then and have no idea what it was called COOL!

Ironically, a few months ago, I found this cartoon in my upcoming listings on my TIVO. Taped it to find it was airing... on a spanish station.

Holy crap! I coulda get him that as a wedding gift... Oh well, i guess i'll surprise him at the family cookout then. Thanks, you read my mind kind of, i was trying to locate this show on vhs or dvd (i figure it's probably not on dvd, since it's not that popular, but i was wrong!). Man, this is cool news... Now, only if they have She-ra dvds, that will make my wife happy...
