Amy Poehler sucks at weekend update, Parnell saved it though as well as Tina Fey's booty roll at the end.

I thought it might have been her, but wasn't positive
Kutcher must be a god in bed for her to still be with him |
Tina's booty wiggle deserves an emmy.

Yikes. What can I say here? After the slam dunk that was last week’s episode, this was probably the worst episode of the season. If it wasn’t for Kutcher, it probably would’ve been the worst episode in recent memory. He’s a pretty good host.
Hardball Talking about the MLB steroid controversy, with a money hungry Jose Canseco, Mark McGwire refusing to comment on everything, and Sammy Sosa with a convenient lack of English. Forte saves a dull sketch as insane Zell Miller. Funny that the one breakout character they’ve had lately is Zell Miller. I guarantee they’re going to overuse him though. Monologue Kutcher talks about how he’s sick of tabloids bringing up the age difference between himself and Demi Moore, then brings her up on stage, in full old lady makeup. She was a good sport, but we got the point about ten seconds in. me-harmony.com Prerecorded bit about an online dating service that matched up the cast members with themselves in drag. As usual, these ads are clever but not funny. Seen this one before. Oprah Winfrey Oprah has on a woman who lost her house in a fire, then ignores her to fool around with John Travolta and Julia Roberts, portrayed by Darrell Hammond and Kutcher in two totally lousy impersonations. Office Pushup Contest Kutcher as the office nebbish, secretly training in preparation to challenge his co-workers to a pushup contest. To his horror, they can all do more than twice as many as he can. Yes, that was the punch line. This was agony. Federline Kutcher as Mr. Britney Spears doing a commercial for Federline “man panties for wiggers”. Gays in Space Flaming homos crash land on planet Alpha Hunktauri. Every bit as cliched, tired, and poorly written as you would expect. Worst of all, this is not the first time we’ve seen this. Weekend Update Couple of fun uses of Robert Blake’s press conference. Chris Parnell comes out to do a rap about how much he loves Demi Moore, but he rap mostly about what he would do to Kutcher if he went that way. Fun rap, but that’s about it. Baptist Church Kutcher as a substitute preacher in a Baptist church. Get it? He’s white, and the churchgoers are black, so they’ll only respond to loud empty preaching. My sides are splitting. This is something that Elliot Gould could’ve done on SNL when he hosted in 1976. I think the audience might’ve killed themselves by this point. They were silent. News anchors Kutcher joins a newscast in the anchor position and immediately gets into a battle with his female anchor and Seth Myers as a bitter weatherman. Myers was pretty funny with his insults. Nebulzitol Not a prerecorded ad parody, but an actual skit about Nebulzitol, which cures March Madness. Third ad of the night. |
First episode I've watched in about a year. Now I remember why. I gave up after the push-up sketch. What would it take for the studio audience to start booing this crap? This show is just a waste of everyone's time.

I agree that this was the worst episode this season. I did not even smile once.

Not good... |
It's a real reflection on the show when the funniest line of the night was from the Robert Blake news conference. No matter how many times I hear it, Blake describing that road trip to Arizona is hysterical!
Still, Parnell rapping is always good for a laugh. Hardball was OK. |
