When Keenan Thompson's roles are the highlight of the show (Africa is dat way--WHACK! & he was pretty good in the preacher sketch), you know you are in serious trouble.

A Punked sketch might have been good.

Justin Timberlake's Ashton Kutcher was better than the real Ashton Kutcher.

"Call me KOOCH!"
"I love Justin Timberlake"

I thought that the Oprah skit was hilarious.

Probably because I watch Oprah, and one of the things it's fun to snark on if the way she kisses the assess of celebreties and she is so self-absorbed. Maya had that down pat.

"Cardioyogalates"

Hmm just checked TVguide.com and it says this weeks episode will be replayed 3/24 12pm and 3/25 1am. Anyone know if that is just mislabeled?

"In my day we did not use anabolic steroids to play baseball. We worked in foundrys and punched guys out at the saloons!"

Does Zell Miller remind you of that grouchy old man character played by Dana Carvey?

I hope Dana returns and hosts the season finale.

I think the guys that watch the OC and American Idol are using Nebulzitol:)

Seth Meyers is easily one of the best players on the show now; he elevates almost every skit he's featured in (and he needs to be featured in more skits than he is).

FLIBILDEEEFLEEWWWWW!!

I thought so too. Not impressed with his impression of Carvey doing a character.

I did like his girly "yelp!" when Kutcher's character went after him.

He is good, but I've noticed that he's starting to do the phony crack-up thing with Fellatio Sanz. It's only happened 2 or 3 times, but it worries me. Of all the people in the cast to break someone up, Sanz is NOT that person.

Yep, me and the wife both busted out laughing when he did that. My wife had surgery the day before and that was the first time she laughed since the surgery, it was a painful laugh though. :(

That's on E! and is the first SNL that Kutcher hosted.

AND, geez, you guys are brutal -- if Kutcher is a member here, he's home weeping in a corner!

What skit was this? Gays in Space?

slop101 03-22-05 01:16 PM

Turns out that for his impression of Owen Wilson, Spade was actually wearing a prosthetic penis on his nose.

Ha ha ah...

You're kidding me? Stefani was on when he hosted last too? What a jip.

No, the one where he is an embittered TV weatherman, and he harrasses news anchor Kutcher to the point where Kutcher goes after him.

that seems odd since stefani's solo album is fairly new. wouldn't it have been no doubt in any earlier appearances and not just her?

SlingshotBandit 03-22-05 09:28 PM

sadness looms over the prospect of missing this episode. repeating my plea from an earlier post, does anyone have a copy of this on dvd that I can pay (money for the expenses and time) for? [email protected] let me know.

ShelleyLevene 03-23-05 05:50 AM

As a meteorologist, I enjoyed the Action News sketch the best. Seth's character said all the things a meteorologist would like to say but can't. :)

Daniel-A 03-24-05 02:12 PM

SNL just started. ANd bleh. Labeled wrong. Ashton + 50 cent.

Tommy Ceez 03-24-05 03:54 PM

Any XM radio O&A fans think the news sketch was inspired by O&A playing multiple clips of the newscaster/weatherman feud on Ch7 morning news?
