The Shield - ? about time slot
After seeing several commercials for The Shield's season premiere with no information beyond "premiering this week," I hit TV Guide.com to find out when it would be on. Why do they not say in the commercial what day / time it's on? Does it show on different days in different areas of the country, or is it just bad marketing?
Anyhow, it's a blessing for me - it's on tonight (Tuesday) at 10pm. I have a replacement for NYPD Blue.

Yeah - since it is on FX, the show will re-air like twice a night and repeat many, MANY times before the next week's new episode. I have been padding my recording by 10 minutes to be sure to get the full episode (last season I got burned a few times before figuring that out).

My Tivo has been automatically catching the overrun, I think it recorded last night's eps at 1:06.
As stated above, FX will run The Shield ad nauseum. I think they're replaying tonight's premiere ep 4 times tonight alone
