They usually have at least one "eating" challenge in every race. Remember the Hungarian red soup? The scrambled ostrich egg? It's nothing new. And it's not like they are eating blended cockroaches and earthworms.
So I'd be willing to bet (based on the two seasons of TAR I've seen) we'll see another eating challenge before this race is through.

Not sure how eating 10 saltine crackers (with no water) compares to two slices of bread. But someone said I couldn't eat 10 saltines in 1 minute. Wasn't sure if I could, but I pretended like it wouldn't be a problem for me. I tried it, and finished all 10 in 53 seconds.
I'm not trying to say you're wrong. I'm sure it's hard. I think people panic when they embark in eating-types of challenges. I think the key is to pace yourself -- but not too much. If you eat too slow, you get fuller faster. (Which is a great way to lose weight, btw.)
