Was it Leslie Stahl who did the interview 6 years ago, and started saying "You remind me of a Mom!" because he looked after his kids? If so, I knew she was a moran 6 years ago

George is so deluded when it comes to these films. He equates Episode 1 to painting a house white instead of green? Maybe covering it in feces and then salting the earth is a better analogy. I really think he's a little out of touch with the viewing public. Not the critics; the actual movie goers. Who knows, maybe these films will somehow turn out well. I'm sure not filled with confidence after that interview.
And George, you're rich enough and you've earned it : Look into lipo, buddy.

Is there anybody that actually wants to see episodes 7-9 make it on the big screen?
The first three are classics and the sage should have ended there.
Nobody I hope would want to see another Godfather, Rambo, or Rocky movie get greenlighted.
I don't want to see another Star Wars movie after Revenge of the Sith.

I wouldn't mind seeing a COMPLETELY cgi 7-9 that uses Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, etc's... voices. Maybe directed by other people such as Kevin Smith. That could be interesting.

And I can't wait to see what kind of "small" films Lucas comes up with after SW is over with. Anyone think Lucas can still make a regular film?

George definitely has no game when it comes to B-Ball, that's for sure.
Anyone else wondering if Jenny Craig would make the perfect mate for George? (I'm sorry, I couldn't help it)
Seriously though, at least Stahl didn't shy away from drilling George about critics not liking the first two prequels. Stahl didn't do her homework though...when George said, well they haven't liked any of them, she should have jumped on him saying A NEW HOPE and EMPIRE STRIKES BACK were highly praised.
As if it weren't already obvious, I think it's clear now that Lucas' heart and soul aren't really into these films...they are just a way to beef up the net wealth of Lucasfilm so he can spend his final years doing the kind of projects he really wants to do without worrying about dealing with Hollywood studios to get his projects approved and released.

I should probably be offended, but unlike you, I don't take things personally.

Screw all this bickering shit. Someone needs to post a picture of Anakin and Obi-Wan twirling their lightsabers around 100 mph before they face off. That shot was the best part of the interview.

The only interesting part of the interview was about the new Lucas studios at the Persidio, and how all the different parts of his company are going to be working a lot more closely than before - sorta like the FBI and CIA...

To the dark side, he has turned.
