Wonder Showzen
Premieres 3/11 9:30 ET on MTV2.
An offensive (in a good way
) kid's show. I really enjoyed the pilot that has been on the net for a couple years and can be found here: http://www.waxy.org/archive/2003/10/30/kids_sho.shtml

It was pretty good. For the new stuff, my favorites were "What are you running from?" and the beat kids segment. I was disappointed about some of the stuff they had to cut. I wonder if they had to change daddy to demons at the end of the meat factory. That was one of my favorite lines. I guess they changed catholic uncle to catholic priest because they thought it was funnier, but I liked uncle better.

I saw this show last week. I like the blue muppet whatever his name is that kept annoying people. And Beat Kids. When the kid went to the blood bank. That was funny. The rest was a little too harsh for me. Like the duck that could go back in time thru his ass. And he shit in Einsteins brain? Well if I was twelve I would probably think that was funny.

Of all the "despicable" things they do on the show the burning of a piece of paper offended you?

I've been watching it and I love every second of it. It's pretty difficult to offend me. In fact, people who are serious about their religion offend me more than anything Wonder Showzen has shown.

This show is hit and miss. Either way, I do like it's "Nothing's Sacred" take on comedy though.

Has anybody been watching the recent episodes of this? I'm just curious as to your thoughts on HORSE APPLES.
The episode from about 2 weeks ago (the bootleg show) was brilliant.

I've only seen the first two episodes from this season (the first one was genius, second one wasn't bad), but had to say, the commercials they created to promote the new season were incredibly distasteful, I loved 'em.

Well, Horse Apples is Wonder Showzen's version of Hee Haw, full of all sorts of hicks and redneck humor. It is terrible...but in a kind of good way i guess. It had a lot of David Cross which was a plus.

I had never seen this show before and a friend lent me her Season One DVDs. I've finished the first disc and...wow. This show is sooo wrong. And funny. It reminds me of a more extreme "TV Funhouse", which I didn't think was possible.
My favorite bits so far are the "Beat Kids" ones (especially the ones with the little redhead boy).
