well, ct at least helped one person, then went for the crabs. darrell was just being a punk. dan just got stuck helping rachel, who was barely moving.

i also liked how dan didn't even flinch. made ct look ridiculous. And I also liked dan a lot in this season. he had the perfect mix of saying funny things about others, as well as himself.

like saying it would be a good match against landon in a "worst hairstyle" matchup.

My favorite line of his this season was when he was talking about Landon's hair. "Looks like a landing strip for dumbass airlines." Ha!

Darrell has always been about self preservation on these shows. Part of me can't blame him (or CT) for trying to stay out of the gauntlet right before the money.

That must amount to what, about 60 minutes of viewing time?

I dont blame Darrell, after all, its not like these people have jobs. They are on the challenges every year so if they lose, theyre screwed. I know they do campus tours and whatnot but it IS a compettion. Dont tell me youre gonna send me to the Inferno and I just sit their and go "OK". MTV should/probably give these people pension plans.

Matthew Chmiel 06-10-05 07:58 PM

Well they do get money by being there. The big money, of course, comes from if you make it to the end or not. ;)

However, some of the challenges will have the one or two people that actually have a job in real life. However, the past few challenges have lacked those people. ;)

LucyMonostone 06-10-05 08:02 PM

it's not the fact that they did it.. it's the fact that if someone "else" did it how they would act that amazes me.

if landon would of went for the crabs right away you would never heard the end of darrell's crying.. he would of cried so much that a whole episode could of been devoted to it... same with ct if dan did that ct would of probably punched him or who knows what he would of did since he's so tough.

at least dan, brad, julie and some others went out with class and didn't make too much of a fool of themselves (well except the whole wedgie incident for brad bwahahaha)

fumanstan 06-14-05 09:30 AM

A bump as Shavonda gets the boot in the last Inferno!

Gil Jawetz 06-14-05 10:16 AM

Jamie's heart rate thing was crazy. She's cool as a cucumber. And I thought CT might slip into a coma!

raven56706 06-14-05 12:12 PM

I saw Veronica in King Magazine.... man... she is so hot

Well to play devils advocate all of these people have been making fools of themselves for years on their respective RR, RW, or RR v RW shows (especially Julie and Dan). There is practically no way you can go on any of those shows and come away smelling like daisies. The ones who seem to have come away from the MTV reality experience unscathed were so boring that the camera never gave them any play (you know that cast memeber whom you forget is a cast memeber because he/she is never on the show), so they don't count.

Darrell is there to split 220,000 dollars (I think that's how it adds up). Same for CT. Like I said I can't blame either one of them especially with the money so close, making sure they could dodge the inferno.

Glad to see Shovanda go. I never really cared for her though she was ok during this show.

out of context, one of the funniest sentences ever

Good Guys!

Was interesting to see after all that it did end up being Tonya that lost it for the Bad Asses. How predictable :p

SPiRAL 06-21-05 01:13 AM

Where did Tina get that shiner ?

Matthew Chmiel 06-21-05 01:32 AM

Hey, Mike finally won a challenge. ALL RIGHT!

Where did Tina get that shiner?
Maybe she got in a fight with a fellow <s>man</s> woman?

bigsoos 06-21-05 02:39 AM

what was great was that a guy from the Bad Ass side, while carrying a female oh his shoulders, was still moving faster than Tina or Tonya. Tonya going into the water and dragging a teammate in was priceless. If they didn't go in, I still think the Good Guys would have won.

And Jaime

Mike has won the prize before in the past. I remember him figuring out the puzzle in the final mission and leading his team to victory.

boredsilly 06-21-05 06:51 AM

Abe is a beast carrying those girls like that. I was DYING when the bad ass girls were fussing during their run towards the camera.

I love how Mike's all gym muscles. He could barely manage that run. Haw haw.

The end of this show is always such a letdown. It's just sort of like "yay we won bye"

great finale - simple final challenge but i liked it. and im sooooo glad the good guys won.

HOOOO-RAH!

atari2600 06-21-05 11:34 AM

so how does all the money get split up? i assume the 150K is split 4 ways at the end but what about the 80 and 70Ks the teams won before? does only the winning team get paid? do people who won and then are eliminated get some money?

I was wondering about that also!

I agree, jaime is the hottest rr/rw member yet.

I have a question.

Did they ever show the episode where it looks like Landon and one of the bad @ss guys get in a fight? I saw it on the previews but never saw it. If so, how/why did they not get thrown off, they always seem to not mess around when one member touches another.. I'm confused, did I miss the episode?
