His name was Lucas and he was around age 18 IIRC. I'm wondering too whether the writers just plain forgot.

Although I wasn't a big fan of this episode, any episode that revolves around Lois is cool by me. I also thought Lucky was friggin' hot. It would be a tough call between Lois and Lucy, at least for me. I liked seeing Lois get jealous when Lucy and Clark were flirting. The writers could have done a better job at the overall storyline for this episode involving Lucy and Lois, but whatever. It would be nice if one of these hot extras could stay on the show for a while - I'm talking like half the season at least before they die or disappear. No more Lucy, no more Alicia, and no more Kyla - I really miss Kyla

Since I read this thread before watching the ep, I took the negative parts and was expecting one of the worse episodes ever.
It wasn't [well, as far as Smallville is concerned].
While I didn't care much for Lucy, there was hardly any of that ridiculous Lana subplot. And THAT is always a good thing. [it doesn't bother her or anyone else that she's still "possessed"?] Also, it would've been funny if Lucy had arrived in Smallville with someone named Jimmy who, coincidently, was the one that Chloe had her fling with over the summer. But during this episode, I had a revelation.
I realized that, FOUR SEASONS LATER, I should stop expecting any sort of correlation between the DC Superboy/man history and Smallville's. I also realized that it's about time they start making Lex evil. Truly. But, then again, there was a Lex mini-series that came out this week and writer Brian Azzarello seems to be rewriting him to fit the way the show's been writing him.
Oh, and did anyone else think Tom looked eerily like Christopher Reeve after he sat up as Lucy was leaving?
