The only thing with Rambaldi was in the beginning when they made that device that made the people in that church burst into flames got me interested. Then the story go far fetched.

Tonights episode was "ok" till the cliffhanger. The ONLY thing that just gets me is that Syd was molded to be a hightech killer from day one but yet she gets over emotional at the drop of a hat and loses focus on her mission if something happens to make her cry. Now if she were following Dixon and he let a silent but violent go I could understand but when you're being chased by your nemisis and she just shot your sister. If you aren't going to do anything you better watch your back.

The end of the show was ridiculous - two trained agents chasing an armed fugitive turn the corner and see that they are pointing their guns at each other, so they decide to have a hug. WTF? Did you think Anna was going to tear up and join in?

Meh.

Sydney is getting on my nerves big-time now. With her constant emotional blowups at everybody, I'm starting to get the same vibe from her that I got from constant-speech-giving-Buffy in Season 7.

I don't think there's any question that was a reference to True Lies. They even had Sydney with the French accent just like Ahnuld in the hotel room(well, his tape recorder had the accent, but still).

Alias has frequently referenced the James Bond series, so I'm not surprised they'd pay homage to the best Bond flick of the last decade, True Lies.

Nope.
Spoiler:
I think she's was given a vocal command/hypnotic trigger captured on the security camera.
There ain't NO way this is going to be a two episode arc - everything dropped over the course of the season so far is going to come back with a vengeance IMO. I can't wait - and thanks to a NON-STOP/no repeats programming I DON'T HAVE TO!

My sentiments exactly in regards to the first point.

As to the second - for some reason I have never found her to be attractive. There is just something about her I don't like...I find her to be kind of creepy looking.

This has obviously worked, and with higher ratings now in tow, I certainly hope they realize it's time to return the show to its principle roots (cliffhangers and character driven longterm story-arcs), which is exactly what this show does best.
The bad news is the ratings are dropping- since the great ratings in the season opener, they have been dropping slowly but surely, and the last two weeks have been less than 10 million viewers. At the rate it is going, it will be back to its usual 8 million average from last year. The question is, with a great lead-in like Lost, will Alias survive if its only drawing 8 million viewers?

Actually, for this past week, they're still holding over 10 million viewers and are number two among 18-49 year olds. Considering they're up against new American Idol episodes, I'd say they're still doing very well.

I hope it stays well in the ratings but what is J.J Abrams doing to this show? Hes making it boring fror fans of the show and for new comers theres no draw to watch the next episode. Nothing that you wanna see what happens. Theres no excitment when the show starts to see what is gonna happen in tonights episode.

I bet if he started clean in season 4 like he did but making a new story arc that continued from the season 4 premiere to now more people would be watching because they would be hooked and would want to find out what is going to happen.

He also needs to make the characters exciting again. How many times are we gonna have to be shown that Sidney hates Salone. Almost every episode she tells him how much she hates him. as with Sidney and Vaugn. sidney and her father.

Season 3 while some might not of liked it as much it was exciting and the characters were exciting. Marshell having a baby .......etc.

Yup. I agree. Perhaps J.J.'s jealous of 24's "THERE'S NO TIME" drinking game?

Perhaps you can't get rid of the image of maggots crawling around on her rotting face (if you watched
Spoiler:
Angel
).

I thought that it was a great episode as well. Hopefully, Nadia is dead, or will be next episode. I really don't like the sisters storyline, although if it brings back Rambaldi, I am all for it.
