I watched it. I may have laughed once. No where near as good as the first if you ask me.

My kids love Star Wars, they are 5 and 8. Is this kid safe, or should I not even mention it to them? I have taped it and know that I would like it, but is it to "adult" for them?

I thought the jar jar gecko insurance commercial was pretty damn funny.
I also liked the empire "dinner" scene and the "altered the deal" scene.

I'd say its too adult for them. There are several bleeped out words and adult situations. But judge for yourself.

I watched this last night (taped). I thought it was pretty damn funny. I especially liked the stormtrooper take your daughter to work day and the I am your father sequence. Luke on the speeder bike being pushed by Vader was hilarious.

Re: Robot Chicken Star Wars spoof
looking forward to the second one which is getting released this month, but I watched some of the supplements on the first disc and the audio outtakes of Ahmed Best's Jar Jar had me in tears of laughter - I haven't laughed that hard in a looooong time.

Robot Chicken DC Comics Special
Anybody else catch this? While technically the season premiere is next week, they aired a new 30 minute show tonight devoted to the DC Comics Universe, in the vein of their Star Wars episodes.
Unlike the Star Wars shows, this was 30 minutes of all new material, and they did a pretty good job of stringing together a narrative, especially for this show.
Aquaman was the central target as usual.
There's a pretty funny scene in a bar where the superfriends take turns trying to pick up women.
They got Steven Tyler to come in and record a parody/sound alike of "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing," though I couldn't really tell if it was really him or not til the credits. If this is what he sounds like now, Aerosmith's new album is really going to sound like shit. But this song was pretty funny.
They have a recurring sketch where they highlight actual DC comic characters, including using it to make fun of Firestorm, by comparing him to some really laughable characters.
Overall, this might not reach the levels of greatness that the Star Wars episodes reached, but it was still pretty damn funny.

Meh.
I'm a pretty big comics fan, especially DC (meaning I got all the jokes), but this wasn't particularly funny to me. Making fun of Aquaman seems so five years ago and most everything else just seemed uninspired for the most part.
I wanted to laugh more than I did. Ah well...

I thought it was very funny myself. While I agree making fun of Aquaman seems 5 years ago, its the fact that this is still the prevailing opinion of what people think of Aquaman and why DC and Geoff Johns in the comics have been going out of their way to show him as the badass he is. And thankfully, the sales have gone along with it.
Yet, why Johns would go right back to the jokes as someone taking part in the writing of this I have no idea.
However the running gags of Bane breaking Batman's back always made me laugh. And I was absolutely howling at Superman's mindwipe power.

I watched it last night and thought it was funny.
Loved the superman memory erase kiss
Also liked all of the "Freeze" / ice villains
I always get a kick out of the legion of doom making fun of each other.

Mediocre at best. Nowhere near on par with the Star Wars episodes.
The gag with Aquaman thinking he was jumping onto the invisible jet and then the three others flying off laughing, since when is Wonder Woman able to fly on her own like Superman?

The problem with their DC spoofs is that Robot Chicken exhausted their knowledge of Superfriends years ago. I missed this one, but how many times can you make fun of Aquaman?
