GMC must not have paid them for product placement, the logo on the Envoy was blacked out
and jason's mom revealing the plan in lana's business/home is ridiculous
what is this, a james bond movie

For some reason, it took the vials to be broken for the Kryptonite to effect Clark. They were just glass, not lead. It should have effected him before they broke.
Also, later, Clark jumped into the back of the burning truck, where the Kryptonite still was, and didn't feel the effects.

The liquid Kryptonite could've been in crystal lead containers (a bit of a stretch?)...and might have mostly dissolved from the fire by the time he goes in the truck. Either that or the fire provided some shield.
Clark keeps on falling for the same trap every time. Any time there's some kind of "super power" phenomenon, there is bound to be Kryptonite not too far away. Of course, it would kinda boring to see him whoosh in and out without any inconvenience of some kind.

for anyone in the Detroit area, can you tell me what time the show actually started? I just now started it from my tivo and it kinda seems like it may already be half over or something.

Lois Kind of a boring episode, although some fun interaction between Lois and Clark about the dog. I keep hoping that the Lana/Jason storyline will be built up into something interesting, but as each episode passes i'm less and less interested and more and more annoyed. Chloe still annoys me with her response to Clark's powers.
Next week's episode looks rather cheesy to me.

It's nice that they finally replaced Pete. I wish they had stuck with the name Krypto though and the superpowers thing. The way they're dividing up the show lately irks me. They wrap up the episode in the 4th segment, Then the entire 5th segment is being used to further this stupid lana plotline, which like all lana plotlines, will go nowhere.

Overall, just a cute episode (what is it they say about acting with small children and animals), but Krypto was more than up to the task of providing the "awww... how cute" factor, plus some of the super-strength gags were amusing enough. Clark doesn't appear to care about showing of his own super-strength to knock out the brothers. It was a good touch to make Lois allegic to dogs, good for more laughs.
Chloe continues to play coy with Clark.
The Luthors/Teagues/Lana storyline continues at its snail's pace setup. Hope the payoff is worth it. The previews appear to take a page from the Wuxia-like films from Asia.

Regarding this week, Lois coming down the stairs was nice, but the character is just getting more annoying. I don't think they ever should have introduced her in the first place. I'd rather see a Clark/Chloe romance blossom.

My guess is that while next week may FINALLY be about them going to collect the artifacts mentioned in the season premiere (which is a good thing), the actual episode looks terrible.

Wow - headlights on! Thank goodness I made the decision to watch Smallville live in HD over Lost this week.
I actually liked this episode except for naming the mutt 'Shelby.'
Next week looks re-goddamn-diculous.

I missed last night's ep. From the sounds of it, that's not a bad thing. I think I'm pretty much done with this show anyway. This season episodes get worse each week. And the few comments about next week's ep don't look promising either. And I love Kristen Kreuk I wish they would just write her out so she can try to move on to other things.
