Each episode of Lost corresponds to about 2 days passed on the island.

Hmmm...okay, but does anyone look like they have a month's worth of facial hair? They are so detail oriented, I'd find it hard to believe that they would just ignore this.

datagirl7 02-18-05 09:56 AM

Hurley looked pretty hairy. I was thinking that it would be a pain to keep appropriate facial hair length.

Big Boy Laroux 02-18-05 10:14 AM

i'm sure they do also have razors and such, salvaged from the plane.

but jack's beard is the best. on the jimmy kimmel show they said he is never clean-shaven, yet never really hairy.

No no, I mean the END when Sawyer is pointing the gun at Jack and Kate's nowhere around. Last week's previews (IIRC) made it seem as if Kate was there when Sawyer pointed the gun at Jack, but what they apparently did for the preview was intersperse pictures of Sawyer pointing the gun at the boar with Kate in the background and then pan to a shot of Jack with the gun pointing at him, to make it LOOK like Kate was there. You know, the usual preview tricks that turn out to be completely different scenes spliced to look like one scene...

Do anyone else feel that Locke know about everyone's problem? That is what I feel when Locke was telling the story about the wife and the dog to Kate and Sawyer.

I think hahn is saying that

time passes differently on the "Lost" island. Which would explain the facial hair thing and Hurley's weight

Finally got around to watching this ep - it was definitely worth the wait.

Loved the scene between Jack's dad and Sawyer and the final sequence between Jack and Sawyer was most excellent.

Who the beautican among they keeps them looking like they just walked out of $200 treatment? Now that's the true lost mystery. :)

Fair enough but rather than just typing up your inital cryptic reply, why didn't you just mention that in your initial reply? Then I would have know I wasn't being jumped on only because I disliked the episode.
As for why I keep watching, I'm hoping that we'll see some new developments soon. For a while Lost was really suprising me left and right and was proving quite entertaining. I'm hoping it gets back to that and I don't want to miss it if it does.

I think you're confusing myself and LorenzoL. ;)

I never said, "If you don't like it, why do you keep watching?" I was merely suggesting that if you didn't like the episode, why spend more time discussing how much you didn't like it. Do you do the same for movies? I don't. If a movie I saw sucked, I go out with my friends and talk about something else entirely. :)

These threads would be pretty dull if only people who loved every episode posted.

ah, now i've thoroughly confused myself! ;)

Oh well what good would the internet be without people complaining about something right ;)
