And IMO they did a great job casting Xander Berkley as the central villain. Did you even watch the last 2 episodes? There was a major character reveal integral to Nikita's motives.
I'm a couple episodes behind. So I should forge ahead on the next few?

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Dropped Desperate Housewives prior to the new season and Gossip Girl, Bones, & It's Always Sunny... shortly after their premieres. Strongly considering giving up on Lie to Me, The Mentalist, Hawaii Five-O, and Cougar Town. Maybe The Office (finally got around to watching the 2nd episode but missed the premiere because it dropped off on-demand). Also might drop V, Rizzoli & Isles, White Collar, & Royal Pains before they return. Just too many shows.

Sons of Anarchy.

I knew this current season would have a terrible start with the way they ended the turd of a season 2 finale. But I never imagined they would drag this weak storyline out for this long. This show went from one of the best things on tv to almost unwatchable faster than any show I can remember. Well, except for maybe Heroes.

Im thinking of dropping

South Park
The Simpsons
Cleveland Show
The Office(I missed an episode two weeks ago and found I didnt really care, but last weeks episode was good so I am on the fence)

I think as I am getting older, I am losing interest in animation.

agreed..and it made the loss of FX on Dish a whole lot more painless

Yes, keep watching. I know it's tempting to drop a show when you fall a few to several weeks behind and you have other obligations, but I personally think the show is off to a good start for it's rookie season. Reading over the people who are dropping shows here, I see that most are dropping them due to lack of time or DVR buildup rather than genuinely hating the show.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

I've given up on Chuck, Boardwalk Empire and Glee.

I REALLY wanted to like Boardwalk Empire, but just can't get into it.

When did you drop Chuck? I think the last two (vs the Aisle of Terror and vs the First Fight) were two of the seasons best, while the latter was one of the series best. You may want to go back and catch up.

Personally I'm two episodes behind on SGU and not in the mindset to keep going. I enjoyed the first season, but they haven't fixed anything and in fact I think they're moving backwards.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

I dropped Raising Hope & Running Wilde after 3 episodes & Outsourced after 2.

I dropped The Big Bang Theory since it's on at the same time as Community.

I regularly watch The Office, 30 Rock, Community, Glee, Parenthood, Saturday Night Live & Chelsea Lately.

Parks & Recreation, V & Haven are gonna be back and I'll resume watching them.

I have to download Being Erica to watch it.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

IRT Deadliest Roads
not like the regular one is that great but it's better than the India spin off. I'll probably keep watching for a few more though

Caprica was getting crappy but I likely would have stuck it out, I'll watch the remaining eps assuming sci-fi shows them

SGU doesn't have my attention like SG1 and SGA but I don't plan on dropping it, at least not yet

Glee. It was fun for awhile but the novelty completely wore off.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Chuck fell off (thought I never payed too much attention to it). The Office just barely hangs on. Still like the show, but there hasn't been any moments that really hit me, like it was in past seasons. If I don't feel like watching it now, I probably won't.

Season 3 is better than Season 1&2 combined. Get to it!

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Have all eps of Hawaii 5-0 and Glee recorded but thinking of deleting both. No desire to catch up on Glee and now that Hawaii got the axe ETA: (which it hasn't, so ignore that part!), can't see investing myself in 10 eps of a show that dead-ends after season 1. (5-0 marathon, here we come!)

LOVING Nikita. Pulled a six ep marathon recently and it's getting better and better every week.

That's surprising to hear. I thought Hawaii 50 was one of the most popular new shows this season. I didn't really care for it, but I thought the ratings were high.

Hawaii 5-0 hasn't been canceled, and the ratings are very good. Don't know where he heard that.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Hawaii Five-0 got a full 22 to 24 episode season (most likely it will get 24). Time and Tide is dead wrong with his information. It's doing good at the Monday @ 10 timeslot. It usually wins in the demos each week with a 3.0.

Chuck was thisclose to falling off my watch list... but the last two episodes were good -- really good in fact and I'm all in again.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

I agree that for the most part, Chuck wasnt up to its previous seasons, but the last 2 episodes were classic form, so if you dropped prior to those 2, you may want to revisit...

Agreed. Out of the last 4 episodes I only watched the "Rocky Horror" one.

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Quit:
No Ordinary Family
Undercovers
Life Unexpected
Hellcats

I didn't think that I'd be an HD snob, but I don't get the CW in HD and there's conflicts for me with both Life Unexpected and Hellcats, and when I had to pick what to record I went with the other shows. If the CW shows were on Hulu I may have stuck with those two longer.

On the bubble:
Glee - I got Vol. 1 of the first season and loved it. I caught up with the show when Vol. 2 came out and was excited to watch season 2 as it aired. I'm having problems getting past one stupid subplot (Artie playing football) and a couple of dismal episodes. I'm now two episodes behind and it doesn't help that I never got into the Rocky Horror Picture Show, so I'm in no hurry to watch that episode.

Running Wilde - I keep watching this because (listed in order of importance):
1) it catches the last minute of Raising Hope on my DVR
2) I like the lead actors and the show creators

Re: what shows are you thinking of quitting?

Dropped No Ordinary Family from the DVR. No real interest to catch up on it and I was about 4 episodes behind. Ah well, got plenty to keep me busy.
