I thought it was an ok episode. Chris Carmack and Tom Welling on the screen at one time? Can't ask for more!

I thought this episode was decent, and it was nice to see Chris Carmack, eventhough it wasn't in the O.C.
I think Lois shows her age more than the others, it just seems like she has too many lines in her face already.

Oh...Alicia who? Worst part about the episode to me.
They need to string out the consequences of that more.
Overall, a good episode. Not the best, but it still got it done. Clark does seem to be careless about using his powers around Chloe. I'm sure it will come out in the end.
My thought - not sure if I said this a few weeks ago - is that the writers are turning Chloe into the "real Lana", i.e. the one from the comics. If you don't know what I'm talking about don't worry - potential spoilers. If you do know, I'd appreciate some feedback.
Anybody else notice Lois was cuddling with the bunny slipper that was not on her foot?

I noticed that which was pretty funny.
It seems like this show is turning into X-files than a superman show. I wish they could advance the story a bit more and it doesn't look like next week will be any different. It's a cool idea but still does not move the story along.

I liked it.
Especially that little homage to the first movie in that conversation between Chloe and Clark towards the end.
I think the perfect way to have ended this episode was not in the stadium though. It should've been in the Kent Farm, Clark holding a football then kicking it out to outer space.

All this talk about Pete got me thinking...so Pete moved to Witchita and left cause it was too hard to keep Clark's secret...but don't you think maybe, as good as friends as they were, Pete would just drive down to Smallville every now and then just to keep in touch, stay friends, etc. What's the problem with hanging out for a weekend (an episode) or two...or having Clark superspeed over to Witchita for one.

Anyone notice the weird configuration of the football field.Thats BC Place and they added ten yards in the endzone to hide the fact that it was a CFL field(25 yd. endzones in the CFL).

it looked like a big version of an AFL stadium. the bacl of the endzone was right against the wall.
i agree with the lois lane face looing wrong for the age of the character.
agreed on to many lines.
it almost looked like the was a circle around her mouth.

People always talk about episodes not "advancing the plot" - but I don't see how there is all this room for expansion, until Clark is out of high school and into college we can't really expect some major shift. I agree that one season should not resemble another, but I don't see how each episode (or each 3-4 episodes) can take some big step forward within the confines of the overall story. That said, I agree that many episodes feel like filler (they should be able to write self contained episodes that are still original and interesting) and some storylines are ill-conceived - like the french witch project, for example.
