I have to give this show props for going for the physical comedy bits in Marni and Nate's fight over all the stuff he told her friend (who Nate mistakenly though was a real licensed therapist).
Bringing on all the old circus cronies gives me that Carnivale "light" vibe.

Anybody know how this is doing in the ratings? It's usually got a little bit of funny stuff. It's not Scrubs, but it's certainly better than Joey or Will & Grace.

I use it like Sominex - puts me to sleep in under 5 minutes.
BTW it came in 87 out of 117 shows (tied 2.2 share with a repeat of Family Guy). Since NBC has really NOTHING good on anyway (except Scrubs), it'll most likely finish the season at least.

I'm not completely caught up on the episodes, I've actually only watched the first 3 so far, but I find the show hilarious and I was expecting to hate it - only started watching it because my wife wanted to. Its doing pretty horrible in the ratings though.

The supporting characters are more interesting and funnier than Marni and Nate. It's not the best show but I'm enjoying it, and it still has the funniest moment on television this season with the fight between Nate and Todd on the nanny cam.

I'm really drawn to the show. Its not afraid to be off the wall for no reason other than being off the wall. None of the characters really have any depth, but I like them.
I wouldn't say its a great show, but I know that I like to watch.

What i like is that its different. like the person side its not afraid to be off the wall. I liked last week when they were trying to have dinner on the roof, and then a robber ran across then a minute later a fat police officer comes running by

Jennifer Finnigan uses her little exasperating girl voice for Marni, but she's got a nice voice (see "Crossing Jordan" episode earlier from this season).
On "Will & Grace" the voice of Karen is super high-pitched when played by Megan Mullally, but she's got a normal sounding voice otherwise (see "Anywhere But Here").
It's a creative choice. I kind of find Jennifer Finnigan endearing (until she lets out her Marni voice...)
