"Uncertainty Principle"
Don recruits Charlie to help figure out where a pair of serial bank robbers will strike next, but his accurate prediction fails to take into account the robbers' motives, and an agent is killed.
We'll see how this does in the premiere of its Friday night death slot.

I didn't care much for this episode.
It's looking like the FBI brother is the main character for the show. However, the "Numb3rs" brother, who the show is named after, doesn't seem to be a very likeable character (more like wacky). That can't be good for ratings. (Well, being on Friday can't help either, but i digress...)

meh
It seems like they want the younger brother to be a young John Nash from A Beautiful Mind.
It's ratings are good so far. Should be interesting to see if it can keep the audience when Trial By Jury launches in March.

I'm enjoying this somewhat, and am probably more forgiving given the cast. The overall concept of it seems to be a bit limiting, though, and could get boring real fast if every episode becomes "math brother has to help FBI brother solve another crime".
One question about this episode - when they had the "mask", couldn't they get DNA from it? Or am I watching too many CSI shows??

I can't wait for the episode when Charlie runs out of chalk. That should be good for some laughs.
The opening of the episode was pretty good, but it sort of sagged to a finish, with the "smart" robbers being really predictable.
