New Outer Limits (1995)

I quite like the 'New Outer Limits' TV episodes that piloted in 1995 with Beau Bridges in 'The Sandkings'. With all the other Sci-fi TV shows being now out on DVD, I wonder why this one is still not availble apart from the two 6-episode collections "Time Travel & Infinity" and "Sex & Science Fiction". Does anyone please have news on the impending release of more of these? Thanks in anticipation.

Yea that was a really good show. I remember the first season finale tied together several episodes into like a government conspiracy kinda thing. Dunno if they ever followed through on it though.

There is a Canadian release of 20 episodes from S1 & S2. Check out a canadian retailer like dvdsoon.com.

It's best to avoid that set. The episodes on it are the censored/edited versions that air in syndication.

We really need a DVD release of this series. There were a few really great episodes in there. The preferable way would be in complete seasons, but I'd still take more inexpensive themed compilations.

Here's the latest: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=2833

Looks like we might be getting four new "themed" sets in June:

Bizarre Aliens
Fantastic Androids and Robots
Death and Beyond
Mutation and Transformation

Despite TVShowsonDVD previously picking up a rumor of complete season sets (also mentioned in the article), I'd say that the above rumor from The Digital Bits is more accurate because they have specific titles.
