It wasn't easy, but I won this time. You are player number 26 to have chosen Guy Raymond "Eddie" LeBec, from Cheers. Guy Raymond "Eddie" LeBec, from Cheers was a tough one, but I've had a lot of practice. Thanks for giving me something to do. Please visit again soon.

I chose Joey Barnes from The Joey Bishop Show. It guessed Jon Stewart from The Daily Show. I thought it was for sitcom characters. After about 10 questions, it just kept asking me obvious current talk show host questions: "Do you have a huge chin?", "Is your bandleader a drummer?" Needs work.

I didn't realize I was supposed to pretend to be someone the first time, so it guessed that I was Dr. Quartermaine from ER (or whatever)... I said it was wrong and I've never seen the show.

I win again! You are player number 15 to have chosen Jaye from Wonderfalls. I knew you were Jaye from Wonderfalls from the start, but I strung you along for a while to make it seem more sporting. I hope that one day you will overcome the powerful sense of humiliation that you now feel. Until then, good luck.
Impressive. It guessed that without even ever asking me if she talked to stuffed animals or got cancelled after 4 episodes.

This game has been around for a while and has been a continuous work in progress as far as I know. As Max said, good time killer.

yep. I thought I found the link here last summer. It is a good waste of time. Especially if you don't try and just pick the most obscure character known to man. I ran down the entire cast of 24 one afternoon. Nailed every one of them.

Don't worry, it happens to all of us sooner or later. Please play again, and next time I'll be ready for you, Xander from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

After I answered "no" to "Are you an American?" it kept asking:

"Are you Spanish?"
"Are you Italian?"
"Are you German?"

Impressive. It didn't even ask questions that led to Chuck; all of a sudden, it guessed Chuck...

Don't worry, it happens to all of us sooner or later. Please play again, and next time I'll be ready for you, Matthew Burton from It's your move.

Well it's useage of the term "sitcom" is pretty open to interpertation. Doctor Who is very much NOT a sit-com, yet was in the database.

I'm impressed:

I win again! You are player number 50 to have chosen Herman from Herman's Head. I knew you were Herman from Herman's Head from the start, but I strung you along for a while to make it seem more sporting. I hope that one day you will overcome the powerful sense of humiliation that you now feel. Until then, good luck.
But it couldn't guess Molly Dodd. Hmm...

It also guessed Kim Jong Il easily, but had trouble with J.D. Dorian from SCRUBS.

Trying again, I chose Cathy Lane from The Patty Duke Show
I guess that you are Mary Camden from 7th Heaven! Am I right?
Again, I thought this was for sitcoms. I guess not. It asked me about 5 alien questions. "Are you an alien?" "Is your best friend an alien?" "Do you live with an alien?"
