Dammit! I missed this. I did see a brief clip or two where the good Dr. accused J of coaching V's answers in the interview.

Somebody please do tell!

So no AR fans saw the Dr. Phil interview with Jonathan & Victoria and care to comment?

I watched it on tape last night. You didn't miss much, it was pretty short. Jonathan still seems slimey. He kept saying that everything was taken out of context, that it was in reaction to Victoria's whining, screaching, etc. Dr. Phil asked him if he felt he was the victim. Victoria mentioned several times that she was glad they could show America the "softer" side of their relationship. Dr. Phil asked some pointed questions, but they didn't give real answers.

Appreciate the comments. I feel better now.

How many traits of a serial killer does Jonathan have?

 Or in the interest of time, how many does he not have?

And to think, I thought the white slavery trade was an urban legend.

That sums it up well. One comment really made me :hscratch:. Dr Phil was asking Jon if he respects women. Jon said something like, "I love women. Playboy is a big part of my life." I was just thinking ummm, ok, so what does that have to do with respecting women? If anything that says you lack respect for women, from an intellectual and emotional perspective.

As for the rest of it, they both seem to be in denial. Jon says everything was taken out of context and Vic's mantra was basically that things were said in the heat of the race and so it doesn't matter. In my opinion, Jon has a major lack of respect and arrogance. Vic has been a doormat for so long that she has started to feel comfortable in the role. Jon came across in the interview as the same slimey, arrogant prick he was in the race.

i'm so glad i got this recap instead of wasting my time watching this.

taa455, I had the exact same thoughts as you when Jonathan was asked if he respected women. Victoria seemed much more vulnerable during the race. Made up as she was in the interview, she seemed more calculating and harsher.
