Csi Ny 1/12

finally watched last week's episode
I find it really hard to believe the small amount of very watered down medicine the chick would have drank would have had a huge effect on her

edit: and why is the title not staying all capitals?

It wasn't just the watered down drink, it was the interaction with the drugs she was already taking that helped cause her demise (a little dab will do ya I guess).

ITS CALLED SHOUT TITLE CONTROL!!!!!!!!!

As for the episode, I thought it was the season's worst to date. Neither story had me engaged... in fact, it made me want to go out and rent copies of Best in Show and Quicksilver and watch those instead.

I read in TV Guide that the show has been given a "mandate to lighten up" and supposedly this dog show-centered episode was among the first done after the mandate. At least someone involved with the show (I think this was a network mandate?) realized how dark and depressing it was. The same article also said they're going to be more New York "involved" rather than just having things happen that could happen in any no-name neighborhood. I think the bike messenger story was intended to reflect that, you don't hear about bike messengers many other places.

So there may still be hope for this version. I hope so, 'cause I really like Gary Sinise.
