Claps.

conscience 01-16-05 08:10 PM

Go Geoffrey (or however you spell it)

mikewendt 01-16-05 08:11 PM

NICE! I thought he was great in that.

B.A. 01-16-05 08:11 PM

Did I hear Shatner drop a "Denny Crane" when first got behind the mike?

Nip/Tuck shouldn't have won for that second season, unless they sent in the scene from the finale Sean and the drug dealer were rocking out to Gary Numan's "Cars". ;)

movieking 01-16-05 08:12 PM

I'm back after watching Arrested Development. I'll have to catch up on the last 30 minutes or so tomorrow.

No surprise with Rush winning.

conscience 01-16-05 08:13 PM

Usher two seats over from Kevin Spacey?

No fuckin' way.

mikewendt 01-16-05 08:13 PM

Kevin Spacey is excited to see Al... But Usher could care less.

movieking 01-16-05 08:15 PM

Funny I was just going to post WTF was Usher doing there, but then I read the earlier posts in this thread from the time I missed...

conscience 01-16-05 08:16 PM

mike, Don't go there...he was just walking his dog that night.. OKAY! :)

Glenn Close...shocker.

movieking 01-16-05 08:16 PM

Boo to Glenn Close! I wanted Hillary to win. She is a hottie!

conscience 01-16-05 08:17 PM

I was going back to Fatal Attraction when Close looked way hot!

Dalvin 01-16-05 08:17 PM

We all know that Jamie Foxx will most likely win Best Actor in one of the categories, but I am rooting for Don Cheadle to win the honor in the other. I would also love to see "Hotel Rwanda" win the Golden Glob for Best Drama. Its such a powerful movie. I want Cheadle to get the credit he deserves as an actor, and if he doesn't get it for this, he'll never get it.

I'm for Bardem in drama

and Paul Giamatti in comedy

although neither will happen.

movieking 01-16-05 08:31 PM

I think that the Housewives will cancel each other out, and SJP will win, mostly due to the cancelling out, as well as SATC ending. Hope that I am wrong. I am pulling for Felicity Huffman.

I am rooting for Cheadle as well. He gave a fantastic performance in Hotel Rwanda.

nightmaster 01-16-05 08:32 PM

Nice seeing Shatner get a Globe.

HistoryProf 01-16-05 08:33 PM

Yowza....looking good Minnie!

HistoryProf 01-16-05 08:34 PM

Please give it to Kaufman so he has to get up on stage!

movieking 01-16-05 08:35 PM

I wanted Closer to win :( Oh well, at least it got a couple of awards.

That's what I was about to say.

I have to admit that Lisa Ling looked great during the red carpet interviews.

Diane Kruger is stunning.

movieking 01-16-05 08:38 PM

Wow! Teri Hatcher? Didn't see that coming. She would have probably been last to get my vote out of those five.

B.A. 01-16-05 08:38 PM

Wow - Teri Hatcher won!

I was pulling for Huffman, but Teri works, too.

Mondo Kane 01-16-05 08:41 PM

foreign language film-award given out yet?

Anybody see Zach Braff when Teri did her round of hugs? Hilarious.

MFRONE 01-16-05 08:42 PM

A show that has not completed a full season should never be allowed to be nominated for any award.

Congrats to Teri! She deserves it. I didn't see her winning the Globe because I'm watching her show on at same time. Someone tell me what she said when she accept the award.

Willy 01-16-05 08:46 PM

Somone tell Usher this isn't the matrix wearing sunglasses inside doesn't make you cool. God I had people who do that.

movieking 01-16-05 08:51 PM

Mick Jagger? Don't think so

Quake1028 01-16-05 08:55 PM
