Entrance fee? That's just silly. You guys do realize that if you have a telethon with a ton of celebrities, many many more people will watch it? And then, more money will be made?

I'd love for these celebrities to give donations, but it's not my place to call out rich people and expect them to give so much money. The telethon is a way for them to use their celebrity as a way to draw in aid for a good cause. It works, it raises money, good for them. For anyone bitching about celebrities not giving enough, I'd like you to post exactly how much you've given, and how much money you have so everyone can judge to make sure you're giving enough. Either that or get over it.

Back on topic: Musically I thought it was a VERY poor show. Almost nothing worth listening to. And Madonna was very flat and out of tune. The whole thing stunk. Roger Waters was the only interesting part.

Wow. NBC gave up a whole HOUR! How giving of them. Color me underwhelmed.

They should have got Bob Geldoff to put on a show.
