I hope it's cancelled. I never watched it. I didn't spent $6000 on a nice HDTY to watch yet another Jason Bateman sitcom. Come on!

A simple Internet search would show you that it is back on this Sunday.

Maybe you should have invested in an HDTV - maybe THEN you could change the channel and watch something else during that time slot.

New episodes begin on Sunday 1/16 - Switch Hitter and will continue for at least two more episodes.

Your loss. We're all impressed you spent $6000 on a TV.

I'm impressed that Groucho can still get people to bite.

It amazes me that someone could spend six years on this forum and still not spot a Groucho post.

IT'S GROUCHO! Read the Arrested Development threads and see who one of the show's most vocal proponents is.

Or you could just watch the show. The post was so clearly a joke from the show (as was djbrown's nice response) that even a forum newbie should catch on.

I do watch the show, I know that "You've made a huge mistake," is a common theme, and that the "We're all impressed by your $6000 TV" was a reference to Gob's suit. Where was the reference in rfduncan's post? I did miss one episode this season, maybe that would explain it.

I think rfduncan's was just to point out that groucho typed "HDTY" instead of "HDTV" -- i.e., the last letter is wrong. So he was just goofing on groucho's probably-not-intended error within his goof. (I've made a huge mistake...thinking I can interpret any of these guys correctly.... )

Looks like we have a stew going.

P.S. Thanks for the info. I couldn't find the next air date on Fox's AR site (although there is a possibility that I am blind).

Depends. Are you at all concerned about an uprising?

Damn, my mistake. Can I redeem myself by saying "The Final Countdown" is my cell phone ring?

At this point they're just masturbatory and tiresome and do little more than derail threads, just like he did this one.

Well considering the question in the thread title was answered I really don't see the problem with a little AD humor.

I have to agree. It actually has worn out its welcome in many cases considering how many new people can potentially misinterpret those posts. All it serves is to create confusion, disenfranchise newbies from feeling included or that their participation is valid/wanted and just take the thread off topic.

I'm a little saddened by how many Anti-Grouchites are on this board. I would have hoped that you people were a little more inclusive.
